"Myrna!" All of my four cousins started running towards me pushing each other, racing. Each was trying to reach me first and hug me. I looked beside me to see Aria rolling her eyes at her brothers' childish behavior. I smiled a small forced smile when finally Landon came and hugged me tightly.

"Oh Myrna. I missed you so much. I'm so sorry love." He said as he let go.

He looked at me with caring eyes, but I just nodded my head as the small fake smile still plastered on my face.

One by one, my cousins hugged me and told me that they were sorry for my family's death.

I was holding back my tears. I couldn't show them my pain, how hurtful it felt to loose everyone and everything you love. I couldn't bear the memories. The memories that were haunting me whenever I hear their name, or wherever I go. I felt myself break with each second passing by. My heart felt like it was being stabbed over and over again. I was feeling desperate.

I felt somebody hugging me from the side, and that what made me come back to reality.

"It's okay Mimi bear, everything is going to be fine trust me." A voice that belonged to Jasmine my cousin's wife said.

"When did you come? I didn't see you standing with the boys." I answered quickly, not wanting her to see how weak I was. I wiped the fresh tears with the end of my sleeve and looked at her my fake smile back on.

She pulled back and stared worriedly at me.

I looked over her shoulder to see that everyone had gone.

"Where did everyone go?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Come on now they are waiting for us in the car." She answered. I knew that she didn't believe the smile I was showing, but she bothered no more about it.

The car ride to my aunts mansion was quiet, the only sound you could hear was the song blaring through the radio.

When we reached my Aunt's mansion it was pretty late, and I was tired.

I got out of the car and saw a large front yard, with green grass. The mansion was pretty big, with it's creamy colored walls, and blue roof.

Aunt Rose was walking beside me, step by step. As we reached the front door, she held my arm and smiled sweetly at me.

"Welcome to your new home!"
