Everything happened in a swift motion, everything happened in front of my eyes in a blur.

"You fucking bastard!" Alex growled, snatching Elliot away from me and taking us both off guard.

Alex's fist came in contact with Elliot's jaw, so hard that Elliot stumbled away holding the side of his chin. I looked between both boys in fear, crawling up to the wall behind me while my heart hammered so fast in my chest.

This can't be happening.

Alex went back to altercate over Elliot. His fist raised but Elliot caught it midair. But this did not stop Alex, he kneed Elliot in the stomach, and then punched his nose.

"You want to do this here don't you?" Elliot gave him a humorless laugh, as he wiped the blood underneath his nose, moving back.

Alex was literally fuming. "You don't fucking have enough, do you? Asshole!" He tried punching Elliot again, but in a swift movement, Elliot ducked. He took Alex by his neck, and then knocked his head hard with Alex's forehead.

Alex fell back on the floor, holding his forehead while his eyes shut in pain.

Tears have already been falling down my cheeks. They were fighting over me and I did not know how to stop them.

Elliot hovered over Alex, punching him across the face continuously.

"Stop! Stop it! Both of you stop it!" I screamed but no use. My loud scared breathing sound was rushing and blocking every sound out. I was terrified, truly.

Alex started to loose conscious, from how hard Elliot was punching his face.

"Elliot stop it, for God's sake, stop!" I screamed as sob choked the inside of my throat.

Do you think he even dared to listen?

He held both of Alex's shoulders. "Do you fucking think I wanted any of it to happen? Do you still fucking think it's my fault? Huh?" He shouted at Alex while shaking his shoulders.

I slid down the the wall behind me, feeling powerless while tears sprinted down my face faster and faster. "Stop it, I beg you, stop.."

"Go to hell!" Alex's voice went out. He punched Elliot again and rolled both of them so he was on top of him. Elliot grabbed the collar of Alex's shirt. And both boys glared at each other, fire burning in their eyes.

I held my neck to try and regain the ability to breathe normally, wishing all of this would come to an end. I clutched my knees up and rested my forehead on them. I blocked everything out, their screams, their punches, the whole way they were fighting. I was continuously whispering, "Stop..stop."

It was a nightmare.

It felt like hours, with me rocking myself back and forth in fear. Even my body was shaking. It felt like a very long time, that I couldn't even take a glance up or hear what was happening around me. My body was in such great fear and panic that it just crawled into a ball, as my breathing was the only thing I was hearing.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, closing around my back. The figure that hugged me gave me warmth, and that made me realize how cold my body was at that moment, how much I needed heat. My breathing was still lagging, while the person hugging me was rubbing my back up and down with their hand. I was slowly getting my consciousness back, taking in the reality.
