"Mom? Dad?"

They stood right there, staring ahead. They didn't respond, neither look at me. We were in a spacious white land. My heart banged hard in my chest with fear. I looked around, not finding anything but space around me.

My three brothers suddenly appeared behind my parents. They all stared, not blinking one bit. I called after them again again, but they didn't budge.

"Why aren't you answering me?" I screamed, frustrated. I tried to run to them, but whenever I got closer, they got further keeping the same distance between us.

I was so scared, their pale white faces terrified me. My hands trembled in front of me.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of a gun shot, making me jump and my heart rates to accelerate in panic.

I looked back at my parents, and saw blood soaking their white clothes. The room suddenly was getting hotter and hotter as distant fire devoured from far away, getting closer and closer.

My parents fell to the ground with a loud thud, and I screamed their name but no sound came out of my mouth. Tears were falling again down my eyes as I saw them die in front of my eyes.

The fire was approaching them quickly.

"No! Not again! I beg you!" I tried to reach them, hoping I'd get them away.

In a sudden, I was inside a huge glass box. My eyes widened realizing I was trapped. I banged my fists on it trying to scream at them to move away, to warn them but they only stayed right there.

"Move! Move! Don't die again don't!" I sobbed falling to my knees, looking at them with wide eyes. I kept banging my fists trying to get their attention.

"Myrna?"

The fire reached them, engulfing my parents first and letting out black ashes around the glass box I was in.

"No!" I sobbed so hard.

My brothers held each other and looked at me. Before I could tell them to move away, they mouthed "we're sorry.." with their lips and were now burning by the horrifying flaming fire.

"No! No! Not again! I beg you, please no!" I screamed. "Don't leave me no don't! Ugh no!"

"Myrna?" A loud voice shook my body up.

I inhaled sharply, my eyes snapping open so wide. I pushed myself up sitting and trying to make my breathing steady. My face was wet with the tears I had shed unconsciously in my sleep. The ones I shed because I just saw my family burn in front of my eyes.

It was an execrable nightmare.

I closed my eyes rubbing my temples and biting my lip harshly trying so hard to make the horrible thoughts of the dream vanish. It had been a while since I dreamed about them, and this time, it was the worst.

A sob chocked the lump that was forming gradually inside my throat, as a result of not being able to push the images of my nightmare away from my head.

I felt fingers brush the side of my arm and I jumped startled giving out a squeal in fear.

I looked panicked to the side. Elliot was looking at me with worried and warm eyes. I sighed in relief, running my fingers through my sweaty hair.

Wait, Elliot?

I snapped my head back to him, furrowing my eyebrows at his presence in my bed. I looked around me and realized that we were in his room, on his bed, under his sheets.
