"Thank you so much.."

Elliot had taken me to a small shop that served ice-cream, which made my heart melt by the way. But the ride there was rather awkward for me. I had to wrap my hands around him as he drove us on his motorcycle. Tingles ran through my hands as I did. Even though he was wearing a shirt, I felt the strong muscles beneath. Yep, the same ones I blushed so hard for a week ago.

We were walking to my car in the school's parking lot. Elliot told me that it was no problem. It was cold now, I couldn't understand why. It was warm when we first went to the ice-cream parlor, but now my soft cardigan didn't help at all.

A cold breeze hit us as we reached my car, making me shiver a bit. The scene of wrapping my arms around Elliot's back tightly, suddenly popped into my mind. And a sudden urge to hold him again, ran through my head.

I looked at his eyes. He was staring intensely at me, but suddenly a nervous feeling hovered over his beautiful eyes, as he took a sharp breath.

"So...I'll see you later?" He asked while rubbing the back of his neck.

I smiled. Even though it was cold outside, my heart warmed at the sight of his blue eyes. Those eyes which were so cold at times, showed so much warmth.

I suddenly attacked him in an unexpected hug. He was surprised. His body tensed, but after a while relaxed as he hugged me back. He was so warm, I just wanted to hug him and never let go.

"Of course." I whispered, "Of course.."

I walked slowly to the porch, my left hand clutching my keys tightly as I adjusted my backpack on my shoulder.

I opened the main door of the mansion, and was greeted with utter silence and darkness.

Weird.

It was only 7:47. At least my cousins had to be awake. They never sleep before 10:00.

I walked slowly to the living room, trying not to trip on something. It was dark. And I couldn't find the light switch, to turn the lights on.

Suddenly, a bright light, stroke on. I let out a shriek of fear looking ahead. It was Alex sitting on a couch with a light stand beside him, he was glaring at me and I knew I was doomed.

I stared at him for a moment. As my eyes roamed around his features, I bit my lip to keep myself from laughing. His expression was hard yet dramatic.

Hilarious!

"Where have you been?" he asked in a deep voice.

A giggle escaped my lips as I heard his voice. He frowned.

He stood up and slowly started walking towards me.

"A-alex?" I asked stuttering , he was seriously starting to freak me out.

"Who turned the lights off?"

Suddenly the lights were turned on and I let out a louder shriek of fear. I turned around and saw Aria looking at us, after a moment she glared at Alex and pursed her lips.

"Are you really going to lecture her about being late?"

I looked at Alex for he was about to answer, Aria was walking towards us.

"It's non of your damn business." he returned the glare towards his sister, then lifted his gaze towards me and raised his eyebrow.

"Now, where have you been?"

"I.." I stuttered out thinking of a good lie. I looked at Aria, begging her to help me with my eyes. She gave me a reassuring look and lifted her hand, then slapped Alex on the back of his head.
