"Oh my goodness! A Big Mac? Oh my goodness thank you thank you Myrna!"
Austin hastily took out the Macdonald's bag, tearing it open and staring at the hamburger that lied on his lap.
"Well I already knew you wouldn't like hospital food, so I drove down to the nearest Macdonald's and got you this. In the middle of the snow. So you'd know how much I love you." I gave him a cheeky grin plopping beside on a chair beside his hospital bed.
I had refused to go home, to leave Austin, since the second the medicals announced that he needed to go to the hospital for additional check ups. As if that didn't scare the shit out of me after they said he needed a two inches stitch on his forehead, in addition to a cast to his broken arm.
And I couldn't stop crying in both joy and fright.
Everybody has gone back to change and get Austin some stuff, and I even forced Elliot to go and change because he didn't want to let me go. I was still in my same clothes, and with my bloody jacket. And so they're getting me some clothes.
It has been an hour since everything, since Minerva has been announced dead at the spot. And yes I had cried, I dont know if it was for her, but when they covered her with that deadly white sheet that I despise I cried so hard.
And yeah it reminded me of my family in the same exact position, and I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone.
As for Jules, I was feeling so much guilt and worry. She's been in surgery since we came here, and the doctors hasn't come out to tell us about her condition at all.
I silently kept praying for her to be okay, to stay alive. Because if she dies, it will haunt me forever, it'll always be my fault.
Jules was not a bad person, no. She was just, hurt and jealous. And she chose to let those feelings out in bad ways. She sacrificed herself to save Elliot and I, even after she was threatened to witness her parents death by that woman. And I really hoped she'd be okay.
"I already know how much you love me Myrna, you showed it today while I was dying."
I slapped his hand, the uninjured one, letting out yet another long breath of relief. It was one of the bitterest, scariest, and most horrendous moments of my life.
Austin gave me an innocent smile, then took a huge bite moaning out of his hamburger.
"You know, I never knew you love-"
The door suddenly barged open, and there a blond tall and extremely beautiful girl stood. Her face flushed like she had been crying, and she ran to the room and stood still when she saw Austin.
"Savvy?" Austin stared at her, then a small smile plastered on his lips, as he looked at her.
She suddenly ran towards him and tackled him in a tight hug sniffing up her sobs while she continuously kissed his cheek.
"Oh my god Austin! Alex called me and told me everything I just-I can't believe it I came here as soon as he closed the call I couldn't stop crying I was so worried please tell me you're okay I beg you please.." Her voice sounded desperate as she took his cheeks in her palms looking at his face. Austin just stared at her, his eyes sparkling and he had a huge shipment look on his face.
I couldn't help the grin that formed on my face as I looked between both of them;
It was Savanna.
