"Myrna?"
I turned my head around. Shane stood behind me, an amused smile rested across his lips as he had a red cup in his left hand. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"I thought you weren't going to drink?" He cooed titling his head to the side and smiling triumphantly.
I looked at the empty shot in my hand then back at him. I furrowed my eyebrows, then realization washed all over me as I remembered our conversation earlier.
"Ohh." I breathed out giggling lightly and placing the empty shot back on the bar.
"I demand another shot!" I laughed while banging the glass in my hand to the wooden surface.
You just fucked yourself up Myrna.
I scowled at my own inner voice. "No I didn't hush!" I whispered loudly to myself pouting my lips.
"Where's the other shot! I need the rainbows!"
Shane started laughing wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "You amaze me with your innocence princess." He grinned pinching my cheek. I slapped his hand and pushed him away from me.
"Back away, Voldemort! Or else I'll cut your arm like Peter Pettigrew did to bring you back!" I scowled at him poking him with my finger to keep him away.
The tequila is really doing a great job.
He furrowed his eyes but his grin never faded across his lips. I stuck my tongue at him when he raised his hands up in the air in surrender.
I huffed waiting for the bartender to notice me banging my tiny cup for another shot.
I felt a muscular hand grasp my wrist and motion for me to leave the shot. I pouted my lips, looking back at Shane.
"I didn't know that the tequila would do that much to you, I should've given you something lighter." He chuckled. "I'm pretty sure you'll pass out on the bar if you had another one."
"Ha, ha ha. Smartass! We have a smartass here everybody!" I screamed gesturing my hand to no one in particular making some people looking at me like I was a mad woman.
I tried to snatch my wrist away from his grip but ended up stumbling to the front falling onto Shane's chest and giggling loudly. He looked down at me holding my elbows and helping me up. He shook his head mumbling something that sounded like Alex would kill him or whatever.
"Voldemort." I breathed out pinching his nose. "Did you grow up a nose with some kind of a spell or something? It's really big." I stated slowly straightening myself up and examining his nose really close.
I furrowed my eyebrows getting my face real close to his, to a point I heard his breathing quicken.
"It's fluffy." I blurted out.
Shane seemed to snap out of how close I was to him, and he gave me a toothy and nervous grin.
"Just sit down princess." He gently pushed me to the stool behind me.
"No! I'm gonna dance! This is a dancing party, not a sit down party." I tipsily shouted getting away from his grip and walking to the dance floor as Side To Side by Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj came on.
"I've been here all night! I've been here all day! And I, you got me walking side to side." I shouted as loud as I could. I danced alone and moved my hips to the pace in the middle of the dance floor. I ruffled my hair as Nicki's rap version came on while I started shaking my butt slowly.
