Zuko

Y/N P.O.V

"I saw... Zuko" I said, in a low voice. His eyes widen at what I said. "Zuko?! Why would you see Zuko??" He said, looking at me in shock. "I don't know! Heck... at least I saw someone I know. What about you, Aang? You saw a complete stranger!" I said.

"At least it's not an enemy!" He said. "How are you sure that the girl you saw is harmless?" I said. "She would have attacked me if she means harm" he said. "We're wasting time! We should be looking for the others" I said. He opens his mouth to retort, but then close it once he realize I'm right. He nods his head.

"Yup... yeah... you're right. Let's go. But don't think it's the end of this topic" he said, in a serious tone. I roll my eyes at what he said. "Whatever you say, bro" I said. He turns round and walks off. I just follow along.

We jump down a branch, only to realize someone is standing. I can't stop mid-ways, neither can Aang. In the end, we ended up hitting the person, along with another person.

"What do you guys think you're doing?! I've been looking all over for you!" He said. I realize it's Sokka. I let out a sigh of relief and wrap my arms around him. "Thank goodness you're alright" I said. "Um... yeah. I'm glad you're okay too" he said, hugging me back.

"Well, I've been wandering around looking for you!" Katara said. Aang bends himself up. He looks a little flustered. "I've been chasing some girl..." he said. I realize he isn't actually trying to look for us.

"What girl?" Katara said. Aang walks towards her and helps her up to her feet. "I don't know. I heard laughing and I saw some girl in a fancy dress" he said, rubbing his neck nervously. Sokka scoff at what he said.

"Well, there must be some tea party around here and we're just not invited" Sokka said, sarcastically. "I thought I saw mom..." Katara said. Sokka turns silent for a few seconds. He lets out a sigh.

"Look, we were all just scared and hungry and our minds were playing tricks on us. That's why we all saw things out here" he said. "You saw something too?" Katara said. Sokka looks away from her. He lets out a sigh and turn to her again.

"I thought I saw Yue. But, that doesn't prove anything. Look, I think about her all the time, and you saw Mom, someone you miss a lot" he said. I bit my lips. Someone we missed a lot? Does that mean... I miss Zuko?

"What about me? I didn't know the girl I saw. And all our visions led us right here" he said. Sokka turns to look at me. "What about you, Y/N? You see someone too?" He asked. I bit my lips and nod my head with my head down.

"Who was it?" Katara said, in curiosity. "Zuko..." I said, in a hush voice. "Sorry?" She said. I let out a sigh. "I saw Zuko. There... happy?" I said, louder. Their eyes widened in shock at what I said.

"Why did you see him?" Sokka said, I can hear the irritation in his voice. "I don't know, Sokka... why did you see Yue? It can't be just because you miss her. If that's true... why did Aang see some girl he didn't know? Can you explain that??" I said. Sokka shuts his mouth and lets out a sigh.

"I don't even understand why you're so affected by the fact that I saw Zuko. It's not like I miss him or anything. That's just ridiculous" I said, rolling my eyes.

Sokka P.O.V

She's right... why am I affected? I couldn't possibly still have feelings for her, right? Don't I like Suki? But why do I feel this way? Why does it hurt when I found out the one Y/N saw is Zuko. Our enemy!

Okay, Sokka... stop it. You shouldn't interfere with Y/N's business. There must be a reason why she saw him. But why does it have to be Zuko?! Ugh... I guess that would mean I still do feel something for Y/N.

Y/N P.O.V

We start to walk around, trying to find the center of this swamp. "So, where's here? The middle of the swamp?" Katara said. I turn my head and notice a giant tree.

"Yeah, the center... it's the heart of the swamp. It's been calling Y/N and I. Right, sis?" He said, turning to look at me. "Yeah... I can feel it calling out for me" I said, nodding my head.

"It's just tree. It can't call anyone..." Sokka said. "Tree are living beings too, Sokka. You just didn't see it" I said, rolling my eyes. "Anyway, back to what I was saying. For the last time, there's nothing after us and there's nothing magical happening here!" He said.

As soon as he finish that, a vine monster shot up from the water. We huddle together and let out a scream out of fright. I jump away as it start to attack us. It starts advancing towards Sokka as soon as we split up.

"You spoke too soon, Sokka!!" I yelled out. I jump in front of him and use water bending to slice it. The vine move past me and grab onto Sokka. He let out a scream. I grab his hands, trying to pull him from the monster.

"Don't let go!" He said. "I won't!!" I said. Aang use his air-bending to slice the vines. The monster flicks him away. "Aang! Oh you're going to pay for that!" I said, angrily. The monster pulls Sokka and it absorbs him.

"Sokka, no!! You stupid monster! Give my friend back!!" I yelled out. Katara use water bending and start slicing at the seaweed. Katara freezes Sokka in place. I use water and shoot him through the vines. I rush towards him.

"Are you okay?" I asked, offering my hand to him. "I'm okay..." he said. He grabs my hand and I pull him up to his feet. I wrap my arms around him. He wraps his arms around me in return.

Katara continue to slice through the vines with her water-bending. It starts to collapse. I can see a man in the chest. My eyes widened as I turn to look at Sokka, noticing that he have noticed it too.

"There's someone in there! He's bending the vines!" He said. Katara use a final slice, cutting the mask in half. This causes the upper half to collapse. But not long after that a massive pillar of vine shot up which causes Katara to decent up.

Aang jumps forward and rip the vines apart. "Why did you call my sister and I here if you're just going to kill us?!" Aang said. The vine collapse, revealing a man wearing nothing but a leaf loincloth.

"Wait! I didn't call you here!" He said. I stare at him in confusion. Aang turns to look at me, then back at the man. "We were flying over... Y/N and I heard something calling to us, telling us to land" he said. "They're the avatars... stuff like that happens to us a lot" Sokka said, noticing the look of confusion the man is giving us. His eyes lit up at what he just said.

"The Avatars? Come with me" he said. He didn't wait for us to reply. He just turns around and walks away. Aang and I share a look. I shrug my shoulders and we just quietly follow the man. This is getting a lot weirder. Hopefully nothing bad will happen out of this.
