I smiled to myself  in relief. Finally! No more school tests or quizzes... Just free time, fun and rest.  I can't wait to sit in the garden with book and glass of [ Favorite cold drink]. Oh, I love summer!
Suddenly I felt my phone buzzing. I put it out from pocket and looked at screen as I saw the message from my mother

Mom 💖:

Hi sweetie, can I ask you a favor? Could you go to the store and buy some [ Favorite fruit]s on your way home?

I shook my head and smirked. In fact, I bought a lot of [ Favorite fruit]s yesterday. It convinced me in though,that my parents just wanted me not to go back home yet. I understand them. My dad works very much and mom is busy with her chores at home, so they don't have time for each other for all days and at the evening they're too tired to even have nice talk... Today father got a day-off and they probably want to spend it together....
I quickly texted back.

Sure thing, mom ;)  I'll be home in a half hour

I put my phone back to the pocket and sighed softly. Could she forget? Eh...
I decided to go to the stationery store and buy stationery paper and  envelopes so I could write a letter to my older brother, [B/N] , who lives in different city.
I know it may sounds strange to write letters when you could just call on the Zoom or something but the truth is, that my brother hardly ever has time to call us...he already has a wife and  son. Unfortunately the boy is very sickly. Last time I asked [B/N] in the letter, to visit us, he wrote back that [N/N] has pneumonia... Poor little guy isn't even 4 years old... But it's  been 3 weeks since I have received the answer, so I hope that my little nephew is OK now. I miss them.. Last time our family was all together was on Christmas. Kinda long, huh..?

When I came home it was surprisingly quiet inside.
,, Is anybody home? Mom? Dad?" As I walked through the hallway I noticed that all the doors were closed. Now THAT was strange. Even If my parents would have gone for a walk or something like that,why would they close every door inside the house, well almost... I saw my door was slightly open and... the light was on?! How could it be? I didn't turn it on, that means someone had been in my room! I felt shivers running all over my body. „ Get a grip [ Y/N]... It's not a good time for being chicken " I whispered to myself, but if I would go into my room all alone when there could be dangerous robber inside, It would be even more stupid thing to do. I'm just a child. It wouldn't be hard to knock me down and, even if, in some unexplainable way I had something to defend myself I most probably hurt myself with it instead...

After maybe 10 seconds of listening I realized that no footsteps could be hear from my room. I sighed in relief and sneaked inside as fast as possible.

On my desk I saw a large box wrapped in colorful paper,tied with ribbon like a present. There was also a note and it said:

Hurry up, Your Grace!
Get dressed yourself quickly, for the Grand Ball is about to start.

,, Your Grace? Why would anyone call me like that...I'm not any kind of  princess or anything for that matter... Though I wish I'd be... What am I Thinking about?! Grow up,[Y/N] !
From today you're officially a teenager , 13 years old!" I mentally scolded myself. I eventually decided to open the box...

Inside it , I found the most beautiful cream colored dress with [ F/c] sash and delicate pattern embroidered with golden rope. It looked like the dresses worn on the Russian royal court,by the Grand Duchesses Romanov. Whoever gave me this must've known that the Russian Empire is my favorite historical topic. Especially the last Tsar and his family... I would love to meet them...

Apart from the dress i also found a pair of lovely silver earrings and matching necklace. And finally... A small but stunning tiara that looked a little bit like a kokoshnik, traditional Russian crown. It was silver,as well but i noticed some tiny [ F/s]s in it.

I was in shock for a while, then I realized how expensive those things must've been...! Even though I couldn't resist trying them on...And I really looked like a princess! I was so happy!

Then I remembered that mysterious note...I grabbed it realized that, there was a message at the back as well:

Are you're ready? There's no time to waste!Go,where every feast takes its place

,,It's a riddle!... Where every feast takes its place...Of course! The dining room!" I went out of my room. Surprisingly, I wasn't scared anymore, more like curious of what will happen next...

,,Again, complete darkness. Seriously?"I thought to myself, struggling to see at least one thing.
Suddenly , someone turned on the light...I quickly closed my eyes, when I opened them again...

We danced for a while. When the music stopped I ran to my family and hugged everyone.
,, You guys! Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" I asked [ B/N] hugging him , then I turned to [S/N].
,, And you! I thought you couldn't come!
,, How could I miss it? My baby sis is a teenager from today!"
,, What about your college?"
,, I graduated week ago... ?"
,, What?!" me and Mom exclaimed in the same time.
,, Didn't you  know? I asked dad to tell you..."
,,[ F/N], you told me that she's getting 2 weeks of vacation!
,, Uhh... Suprise...?
We all laughed.

Soon, mom went to the kitchen and came back with the most amazingly looking birthday cake I ever saw.
,, Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!
,, Now, there's no everyday your young lady turns 13,is it?”
,, Mom please tell me , you're not Potterhead , are you?" [ S/N] asked.
,, Didn't you know?" I smirked.

At the evening

I can say with all honesty; this was the best birthday party ever! And yet, there's another super cool thing! Grandpa [G/N] said that I will be staying at his home for all July!
I'm leaving in a week, until then I'm gonna spend as much time as I can with [B/N] , [S/N] And [ N/N]...I haven't seen them for so long...I wish my sister-in-law could be here, too but her mother is sick and needs help...
But she called me just one hour ago, wished me happy birthday and send greetings to our family,her mother too!
This is going to be great summer!
