Third Person POV
It was dark outside, even though it was only 7 p.m. ... Both, Peter and Yevgieniy were asleep, but their father wasn't able to get any rest... Whole his free time, after the boys would go to sleep , he would sit by [Y/N]'s bed, praying and asking Lord God, so He wouldn't take her to His Kingdom yet... It was a mother of his children... He couldn't imagine his boys as half-orphans! It couldn't end like this! It couldn't!
It was 10 p. m. now and Alexei was still sitting by his wife's side. He would stay this way for whole night most of times. He wanted to be by her side, when she wakes up, or be by her side when she... Oh, no! He can't think about it! She'll be fine! She has to be!
He turned his head away and gazed through a window at the sky. "Catarina, Pedro... Are you watching? Are you disappointed in me? That I've let all this happen to [Y/N/n]...? Can you forgive me...?" Suddenly,a sound of slight movement caught his attention and made him snap out of thoughts.Alexei immediately looked back at [Y/N] and grabbed her hand tighter."[Y/N/n]...?" He whispered, his eyes filled with tears and hope , but also disbelief... Most of the time, he refused to accept the thought of [Y/N] dying, but some part of him knew it was possible... Until now...
Her eyes opened slowly as she smiled weakly." Alyosha..."
" I'm here..." He brushed her hair off of her forehead.
" A-are we... home...?" She asked quietly, like a lost child wich just awoke from the nightmare... Alexei nodded with a gentle smile as he blinked away few tears. " Yes, my love... We're home... Everything's going to be all right..."
" Darling... The children..." She uttered he cut her off in the sentence. " Both all right. Peter loves his little brother."
" I didn't even stayed... awake to know that I had another boy... Sorry.." Suddenly, she gasped, realizing something. " The baby...! I need to...! He needs..." She tried to get up, but winced as a sharp pain pierced her head. He made her lay down again." Shh... It's OK... He's fine... We fed him with bottle..."
" He's fine...?"
" Yes."
" Oh, thanks to Lord..." She sighed in relief as her head dropped onto the pelow. " I'm sorry... It feels as if I had no strength to get up..." She looked at him in shame." I'm so very tired..."
" Shh..." He shushed her gently. " You need to rest now..." He took her hand with two of his and kissed it. He was so thankful that she was here and was alright...
" My sons... I want to see them, but... I'm so tired..."
" You'll see them as soon as you regain your strength. " He promised. "But please... Right now, take your time and rest." He cupped her face with his hand. "My golden-hearted angel..." In that moment, she took a deep breath and as if for a signal, drifted off to sleep. A good, healthy, healing sleep.______________________________________
" [Y/N]...! Oh, Thank God!" Alexandra embraced her daughter-in-law and kissed her forehead. She's forgotten to close the door, so Nicholas , who was passing by, heard and saw what was happening inside. His eyes wided as he ran into the room. " [Y/N/n]! You're awake! He joined in a hug. [Y/N] laughed slightly."I'm so glad to see you, Your Majesties..."
" We've been so worried..." The tsarina sighed in relief." We thought you'd..."
" I'm tough." The young woman smiled gently.
" We've been convinced about it many times..." Nicholas chuckled."But how are you feeling now?"
" Better..." She sighed softly. " I feel much stronger, but... I'd wish to see my children... I miss them..." She admitted.
"They miss you too..."
" Can I see them...? Please..."
" Olga and Tatiana are taking care of your boys. You'll see them very soon." Alexandra assured with a smile and the young woman nodded happily.
" I'm so sorry for being such a border..."
" Don't talk nonsense! Everyone prayed every day for you to be all right! We've missed you as heck!" The tsar and his wife turned around to see Anastasia in the doorway. She stormed inside the room and pulled her friend into a bone- crashing hug.
" For God's sake, Nastya! Let her breathe!" The tsarina scolded her youngest daughter. However, [Y/N] hasn't got any problems with breathing. If anything, she might have problems with stoping herself from crying with happy tears.
" Dear Nastya...!"
" I'm so glad you're OK!" Anastasia broke apart from the hug and turned her head towards the door. " Yanechka! She's awake!" [Y/N]'s eyes wided as she saw her sister coming in. She was dressed completely like a nun.
" Yana..?"
" Sis!" [Y/N]'s younger sister ran up to the bed and grabbed her hands before embracing her.
" I see, I've missed a lot!" She laughed.
" Well, quite a bit!" Yana admitted, also laughing as they hugged again.
