The night was dark and cold. Poor little girl was frightened to death. She had absolutely no idea, where the strange  woman was taking her, but subconsciously, somehow she knew, wherever it was, it's nothing nice or safe...

The tears welled up in girl's eyes.

Inessa: Let me go, miss...I must come back home... I want my parents...!

But the kidnapper did not seem to hear what she's saying, at all...As if she was somewhere far away inside of her mind...

Stephanie: The sea is calm... The sea is grey...It washes everything away...

Inessa looked at her confused and scared, then she noticed where they actually were... On the bridge.
The woman held her hand so tight that she wasn't able to break free from it, even though she wanted to, especially now, when it was clear that they were coming closer and closer to the edge... Now, they were dangerous close... One more step and they would...
"Please, Let's not go any further! We will fall! I can't swim!" The child begged frantically, hoping that maybe now Stephanie will hear her out. The woman smiled at her, but it didn't make her feel better. " Don't worry, sis... It's almost over..."

Yes. Stephanie had a mental breakdown. She thought that she is with Lisa. Probably mistaking Inessa for her, because she also had fair hair... Right now, in her mind, she was taking her little sister away... They will be together, far, far away from all that cruel world... In a place, when no one will ever hurt any of them, ever again...

Stephanie: Sink into the deep... Blue and cool,and kind... Then driff off to sleep... Sorrows out of sight... Leave the hurt behind...

She was about to jump off, holding Inessa's hand, when they suddenly heard footsteps nearing. The little girl turned her head in the direction of the sounds and her eyes lit up with relief.
" Inessa!" [Y/N], Nicholas, Alexandra and Alexei called in union.
If it wasn't for Dimitri, who, even since Polina died, had problems with sleeping and sometimes went for night walks, saw the strange person dragging Inessa with her. He instantly felt alarmed and informed Anastasia and she immediately told her brother... They wouldn't know where to look for the girl...
" Mama! Papa! Help...!" She wanted to run to them, but Stephanie's grip was iron. Furthermore, she pulled out a pistol and put it onto the girl's temple. Everyone froze in horror. That woman appearently lost her mind and was unpredictable. Who knows what can go into her mind...
" Let go of my child!" [Y/N] demanded.

Stephanie: Not another step!

" Please..!" Nicholas tried to reason but it only made things worse. The woman's hand was shaking, telling clearly about her anger.

Stephanie: Not another word!

They fell silent as grave, afraid of Inessa's safety. Stephanie glared at Alexei as a weird, maniacal smile crept onto her face.

Stephanie: Always wondered how to make you watch! Well, watch me now!

She took a deep, shakily breath as her grip on the girl's shoulder loosen up a little.

Stephanie: Before we took a trip out of Germany... Because I wanted for us better life... Before it all was set, I had to pay the debt...I had to earn...At least I had to try...
