Friends in woe

Third Person POV

" This is what she wanted to tell you..." Carla put a hand on Alexei's shoulder. He had his face hidden in his hands." Why didn't I stay with her....?!" His voice broke.
"  It's not your fault, Alexei... You couldn't know..." Alexandra hugged him."
" What kind of a father am I?! My son is left without mother and my second child got kidnapped along with my wife! "
" It's not your fault." His mother repeated as Nicholas stood up. " We'll find her and bring her back home, son. But now, you have to hold on. There's still a person who needs you the most." The tsarevich followed his father's gaze only to see Peter sitting on the carpet. He was looking around from time to time, babbling something only toddler can understand.
Nicholas picked his grandson up. " Your child needs you." The tsar came up to Alexei and handed him the toddler. The young man held his son close. The boy must have recognized him because his eyes lit up happily. " Papa..." He mumbled looking at him.
" Yes..." Alexei smiled weakly." Papa's here." Little one smiled looking at him and the tsarevich felt his heart breaking. Peter inherited his looks mostly from Romanovs and most probably his grandmother from mother's side... But his face expressions... His smile... It was all [Y/N]...

Suddenly, a butler knocked at the door." Your Majesty, someone wants to see you."
" It's not the very best moment in case you didn't notice!" Alexandra cut in.
" He's insisting."
" Who is it?" Nicholas rubbed his temples.
" Introduced himself as Shinou Takagawa..."
They looked at each other surprised to say the least.  They wouldn't expect anyone from Japan...

The man was shaking as he stood still and then bowed respectfully to them. Nicholas nodded for him to start speak. The poor man's voice was trembling.
" Onegaidesu, Heika...Tasuketekudasai!"* He was very desperate and frightened.

" We just came here for my father's remains, to take it back to Kyoto and bury next to my mother... Chichi*failed during the Russian -Japanese war...And now..  My wife...I don't know what to do.. "
Shinou held a cup of tea in his hands.
" I asked many people for help, but they... Were ignoring me... So I came here..."
" People are usually scared of something different than they know, don't be offended." Nicholas smiled sadly.
" I see I have come in very bad moment, but I couldn't wait... It's a tragedy for me..."
" What has happened...?"
" My wife, Mitsuki... Got kidnapped."
" What?!" For the glimpse of a second the tsar thought, that it all can't be coincidence...
" You could thought she just left me, but the letter is in Russian! As if someone forced her to write it. And instead of signature, there is a message... " He pulled out a piece of paper. That massage was written mostly in kanji symbols.
" Could you translate?" Nicholas asked. He didn't actually know how to read it. He knew japanese a bit, but spoken...
The symbols were speaking,( after guessing the context) : Help. There's two of us. Abondaned house.
" Does this really say Two of us?!"
" It looks like it... Why are you asking?"
" Mr. Takagawa... My daughter-in-law also has been kidnapped few hours ago..."
" Do you think it can be the same person who took them...?!"
" It's possible..."

" So, both of our wives can be in the same place... Kidnapped by the same person..." "But why would he kidnap someone else along with [Y/N]...?" Alexei thought, then asked.
" Mr. Takagawa? Did you or your wife had any contact with a man by the name Gleb Vaganov?"
"  Yes.I am a merchant.  I sale mostly medical supplies and herbs. This man have bought a bottle of ether.
" Ether... That explains why she wasn't screaming for help..." The tsarevich mumbled. " And when did your wife disappeared?"
" Yesterday. I tried to look for her, but it was no use..." So, Mitsuki got kidnapped EARLIER than [Y/N]... But it was clear that Gleb was the one who did this! What was he planning...?
" I don't believe she would just disappear like that!" Shinou stated. " We have two wonderful children. And Mitsuki loves them so much! She would never leave us from her own will..."
" So wouldn't [Y/N]..." Alexei stood up from the coach and went to the room next door.  He came back with a toddler boy in his arms." We have a child as well." He sat back up on the couch. Mr. Takagawa looked quite surprised. "You look very young, for a father..."
" I'll be turning 23 in August. [Y/N] is 22."
" You look younger than that... I'm almost in my 40s..."
" And your children?" Older is 10 years old, younger's 7..."
" Peter is Almost 13 months old." Alexei smiled gently, kissing the top of the boy's head. Then,his face turned serious one. " I've promised him that I will bring his mother and sibling back..."
" Sibling?"
" [Y/N] was with another child when she got kidnapped. That's why it's even more important for me to find her and bring her safety back home..."
" I understand you." The Japanese man put a hand on Alexei's shoulder. " But if our wives are in the same place, there is a one good thing in it, that maybe can be helpful."
" If we find one of them, we'll find them both... " Alexei sighed." But what about the child?"
" It just so happens, that Mitsuki is a midwife..." Shinou smiled. " She'll take care of your wife. I'm sure of that....
