Alexei's POV
My head hurts as hell...I bearly can move, my legs and arms are sticky and swollen... Damn this hemophilia!
I am almost sure, I never had it so bad before... Am I dying? Most of men with my illness do not live up to their 40s and I am already 37....
Wait, no! I can't die! My children need me! I can't leave Peter alone with all this! He's only 15! Way to young to rule... And the rest of them... Gienya, Felix, Vala...Inna and Mishka... Little Katya... And [Y/N]... How could I do something like this to her?
With all due respect, Lord God, I'm not going, yet. I have a family to look after.
Oh, my dearest [Y/N/n]... If only you could be here right now, I would have surely forgotten about all the pain... How come, your presence alone, was able to sooth it, ever since we were just kids...? Why does it always comes, when you are not around? Maybe the physical pain is not so bad? Maybe, I feel so terrible, because my heart bleeds, when I can't be with you...? Are you safe? Are you healthy? What if, I'm not around right now and you need me? [Y/N]...______________________________________
Third Person POV
November 17th, 1941
" Is Your Majesty sure about that?"
" There is no other choice, commander Rostov. Do some other countries wanted to support Russia?
" Great Britain, France, and, if I have correct information, United States of America, all declared the support." The man answered as the knowing smile appeared on tsarina's face. " I knew, it was good idea to make a trade contract with USA! I have to thank the Ukrainian people, thanks their great agriculture, our Empire has got a strong alliance! Wonderful!"" Forgive me, Your Majesty, but I fail to understand, why did you order to put a part of the troops to Moscow... How are you so sure, there will be a battle in two days?"
[Y/N]'s face was serious and stern, but somehow soft and warm at the same time. " Do you trust me, commander Rostov?"
" Of course I do, your Majesty..."
" Then, please, do not question my decisions. I know what I am doing." She said it very clamly, however in the tone, that ends discussion. The soldier bowed respectfully. " I didn't mean to Offend Your Majesty. I apologize..."
" There's no need to apologize. I completely understand your concern, but I assure you, all I want to achieve is the safety of our Empire and its people, which, as a matter of fact, refers to your personal self as well, just as much as every man , woman and a child in this country. Each and everyone of you is in my care and responsibility. I ought to protect all of us, but this can be done only, when you trust me. So, please, trust me."
Her composed, calm and strong attitude, made impression on everyone present in the room. Ministers, guards and even an ordinary butler standing there, all looked at the tsarina with mixture of admiration and shock in their eyes... The old servant let a small smile of pride crip onto his face. He still remembered those days, when [Y/N] was just a frightened little girl, who found a shelter with the Romanovs. Look at her now... A wife of the tsar, a mother of 4 Grand Dukes and 3 Grand Duchesses... And now turns out, she is also a trustworthy and reliable, smart leader. " Lord God, let her reign for long years to come, for she shall be remembered..." He thought, certain about his right." I am leaving the government in your care. If there are any problems, contact with me immediately. Is it clear?" She turned to the ministers, who nodded respectfully. [Y/N] turned around and went to leave the room, so she could prepare herself for the trip.
Was she afraid? Of course! But at least, Russia wasn't alone in this war. It was one of the biggest trade partners of USA, so of course, Roswell declared help. It wouldn't be a profit for him, if something happens, further more Russia was one of 50 countries to sign the Atlantic Charter. [Y/N], of course earlier consulting it with her husband, had signed it in October this year, declaring on the side of the nations fighting with Nazism...
