I arrived at Grandpa's house. As soon as I rang the doorbell, I was welcomed by Miss Isabelle. She is French and works as a housekeeper.
,,1 * Ah,[Y/N]! Enchanté!"
,, Bonjour, Madame Isabelle. Est ce que mon grand-père est à la maison ?"
,, Oui, bien sûr ! Entrez , s'il- vous plaît !" *
I nodded and entered the house.

Grandfather [G/N] has very beautiful and large house. It is practically a mansion. I even have my own room here. Well, actually two; Bedroom and playroom. In my opinion the second one should be called ,,learn -and -create room". There're tons of books, my art supplies,my journal etc. There are only few old fashioned dolls, I may be childish, but can't imagine throwing them away, as well as this wonderful dollhouse in victorian style! I just love those, and even if I don't play with them anymore, they are great as decorations of the room!

Today is such a beautiful and sunny day that I would prefer spending it in the garden, there's so much beautiful flowers, bushes and trees in here! Not if I stuffed myself with cherries or berries and others,and then don't want to eat the dinner... hehe...!
Uh... Speaking of plants, Grandpa hires a gardener too! Wilhelm.He's Swiss who works to afford his studies and even though I am almost fluent in German, often can't understand him...His accent is a little bit funny. I told him that once, but he didn't seem to be offended at all! And that's how I found out that in Switzerland people can have few different national languages, not only German but also, for example Italian , or French. He's very understandable and patient. Always speaks slowly, so I can understand him easier. And he learns our language, too,as well as Isabelle, even though, grandfather siad, it's unnecessary.

He, himself knows both, German and French, but also Italian, Spanish and Russian! I'm doing my best to learn them, too! But it's really hard.. Grandpa is incredible! I have always been wondering how the heck did he end up as and an ordinary history teacher?!

I entered the living room. Grandpa was already there, waiting for me.
,, [Y/n/n], come over here, sweetheart!
He reached his hand out in my direction.
,, Hello Grand-papa!" I ran to him and kneeled down by his chair. I kissed his hand as a sign of respect. You may think it's strange but our family is very traditional, some even say „old-fashioned." One of those traditional things is , respect for your elders ' and we show it for example this way.
I sat down on the same spot where i was kneeling before.
,, How are you doing?"I asked as I looked up at him. He smiled and was about to answer, but then we've heard News in radio:

The war at the Ukraine continues.
There's even more victims.......

I took a deep breath . Suddenly someone turned the radio off. It was Isabelle.
,, 2.Je pense que c'est assez de nouvelles pour aujourd'hui. Monsieur ?"
She turned to my grandfather, he nodded. I looked up at her and my eyes met her concerned gaze.
She left the room and grandpa asked quietly,, What happened on Friday, week before school ended?
,, How do you...?"I whispered in shock. I asked mom and dad not to tell anyone! Ugh! Is there one person in my family,who can keep a secret?
,,[Y/N] , What happened?" He asked again.
,, We had to make a project, for history lesson., Historical charakters that Inspire Me ' I exclaimed not looking at him, I felt shame for crying. I'm too big for it!
,, I've chosen, Nicholas II and his family..." My voice broke. Grandpa quickly put away the book that was laying on his lap. He cupped my chick with his hand so I couldn't avoid the eye contact anymore. Tears were streaming down my face.
....A...and When I finished presenting ..."My vision was now blurred by the tears. Before my eyes I saw this terrible moment

Flashback

,,...And that's why I admire the Romanovs."I finished. There was no applause... Almost. Miss Margaret, my teacher, smiled with appreciation.
,, That was fascinating! I can see how much effort you put into your work.
,, Thank yo- I was cut off by this group of stupid boys,who think that being mean make them look more grown-up.
,, Boooo!"
I wasn't surprised by their behavior or that the others wouldn't clap for me. Russia is sensitive topic nowadays...
,,Stop! This instant!"
Teacher tried to calm them down, but it only got worse.
,, Romanovs inspire you! I bet especially Ivan IV !
,, Nathan!" Miss Margaret slammed her hand on the desk.
,, No.My presentation wasn't..- I tried to defend myself and to be honest, I felt sad, that none of my classmates wold help me with it. Maybe they were scared...
,, I bet you like nowadays situation very much, don't you?
,, No! Stop it!"

I begged as the small tears appeared in my eyes. He smirked. He saw that I started to loose my cool.
,,See?! She can't deny!
,, That's not...I'm not..!"
Before I could react he grabbed my pencil case from my desk.
,, Leave it!" Miss Margaret screamed at him being angry.He turned it upside down. Everything fell out onto the floor. Including a small drawing of OTMAA, made by me. Apart from the siblings I also drew myself on it. I often like to imagine what it would be like if I were their friend...But it was my secret...
,, Ooh la la ! I didn't know you were into long-death hemophiliacs! Gross !"

I felt as if someone has slapped me in the face...

End of flashback

,, And then I ran to t-the bathroom..."
I sniffed. My grandfather's gaze showed clearly what would he do with Nathan. And as much as I hate him I would feel sorry. I smiled sadly and sighted heavily:
,, I just want the other kids to understand me...
Why don't they see that war is not culture...? It is not like world is black and white. ,,I mean , in every nation there are good people and bad people..."I mumbled .
Grandpa chuckled softly,, you're right"
He stood up .
,, And with that note, would you like some [favorite cake] and tea?"
,, YES! Ummm I mean, of course."I cleared my throat,, That was not very lady-like was it?"I whispered.
He laughed,, You're wonderful, well-behaved lady already, dear.

In the dining room

,, And you are mad at your parents?"
I took a sip of my tea.
,,I asked them not to tell anyone and they told [S/N], she told [B/N] by phone..." I started to nervously play with a fork sticking it into my peace of cake.
,,I mean is there someone, in our family, who can keep a secret?" I asked sarcastically.

,, Appearently, there is"- Grandfather said mysteriously "
,, Huh?"
He stood up again and came up to an old drawer, and put out a small key.
,, Come, [Y/N] . I want to show you something.

OK. I have never been in the been in the basement of this house. And I could expect a lot of stairs, but WHY THE HECK DOES IT LOOK LIKE FREAKING DUNGEONS?!

,, Spooky..." I muttered,, Only rats are missing and here it is, perfect scenery for horror movie...
,, Less talking, more walking, dear, we're not here,yet.
,, Why do you have to keep something down here.

Hello everyone!
I hope you like my very first x reader book.( I mean first that has more than 1 chapter 😌)
I just wanted to say few things:
1. This book will (almost) be completely historically inaccurate ( mostly fiction )
2. It will be something like a musical
