Third Person POV

April 12th, 1931~

It was 8 a. m. and [Y/N] has been in labor for 3 hours now.
Alexei sat in the living room with his sons, waiting for the news.
Peter was on the right side of him, and Yevgieniy on the left. He held up a rattle, playing with the youngest of boys, Felix, who was born on February 4th, 1930, and now was more than 14 months old. He was doing his best to catch the toy into his little hands as he layed on his father's lap.
" Will we have another brother?" 3 years old Yevgieniy asked, not looking away from his ( yet) youngest sibling.
" Oh, no.. Better not. You three are enough of troublemakers..." The tsarevich chuckled.
" Girl can be a troublemaker, too." Peter pointed out. " Like auntie Nastya."
" Surely, MY daughter will be as nice and kind as her mother."
" Not, if we teach her otherwise ~"
" Watch your words, young man!"Alexei warned his eldest son, glaring at him playfully.
" Auntie Tatiana said, that it doesn't matter,if it is a boy or a girl. What counts, it's gotta be healthy. Cousin Amelie says so, too..." Yevgieniy chained in quietly, making his father smile in approval.
" You are absolutely right, Gienya."
After a moment of silence, Peter asked, a little concerned."Papa... If the girl is born, will you... Will you like her better than us?" Terrifying question filled the room with fear. Yevgieniy dropped the rattle, turning to his father scared. Even Felix seemed slightly concerned.
Alexei's eyes wided in shock. " Who have told you such a silly thing?" He looked at both boys, who sat beside each other now. " Of course not! How could I ever do that?" The kids shrugged, appearently not convinced by his declaration. " Come here, both of you." He wrapped one arm around Peter and other around Yevgieniy. " Now listen... I could never, EVER love anyone better than my family. That refers to you as my children. I love each and every one of you the most in the world and that will NEVER change. I promise."

" You know... It would actually be nice to have a little sister... She would be a lady and we would be her knights, What do you think about it, Gienya?" Peter asked.
" Awesome!" His younger brother cheered, but then frowned. " But what about Felix?
"Hmm... Oh, I know! He can be her personal right hand man! Every lady needs one!"
" Like Anna to grandma Alexandra?"
" Slightly. Only it's going to be not exactly a lady-in-waiting... What would be a male version for that...?"
" Butler..?" Yevgieniy shrugged, not exactly sure if it's a good option.
" Butler it is! " His older brother decided then looked at Felix, who appearently fell asleep." Aw, but he can't keep falling asleep like this! Who is going to tell us about the danger if he'll be asleep?"
Alexei couldn't help but chuckle at the kids. The things they were talking about were just about the games they were going to play, but they were taking all matter so seriously... It looked funny, but at the same time showed how mature they are when it comes to whatever is important to them... He was so very proud of them...

Suddenly, a maid came in opening the door wide. " Congratulations, Your Majesty! You have a healthy beautiful daughter!"
" We've got a little sis!" Peter and Yevgieniy exclaimed happily (but quietly so they would not wake up their brother). Alexei stood up and layed Felix down into his crib, then turned to his two elder sons. " Boys, I want you to take care of your little brother, while I'm going to see your mama and sister, OK?"
" We want to meet them, too!" The eldest boy chained in.
" If the doctor says, your mother is not too tired now, I'll take you to her right away. I promise." Both brothers ran up to him with bright smiles on their faces and hugged him. As they broke apart, he left the room.

The newborn Grand Duchess was given the name Valeria, wich means " strong, brave, /healthy."
[Y/N] also felt surprisingly strong after the birth. Even though, thank God, she never experienced any complications ,( despite the circumstances when Yevgieniy was born) she always felt at least a little tired afterwards... Now it was different.
Few hours later, she sat with her husband and children on the sofa in living room. Alexei was holding the youngest boy on his lap as his two eldest sons sat beside him, while [Y/N] was sitting beside Yevgieniy, holding her newborn daughter. And the photo of this moment was taken.
