Ashton
"Why didn't you tell us you were performing?" Presley giggled.
Adrian offered to take us all out for ice cream but, we had all finished and were just sitting around and talking.
"Well, I didn't even think I was gonna be able to do it until I was on the stage!" I chuckled in response.
"I think you did great." Andy smiled from across the table.
His little pep talk really calmed me down and I was really grateful for it. In fact I planned on showing him my appreciation later tonight.
I was pulled out of my dirty thoughts when Adrian opened his mouth.
"Yes she did but, I knew she would."
"You both were insane!" Gracie cheered as she laid her head on Sydney's shoulder
Everyone was smiling and laughing, truly having a good time. This was probably the best night I'd had in awhile but, of course, all good things had to come to an end.
"Andy?"

Andy"Andy?"
As I looked to the door of the ice cream parlor, the smile instantly fell from my face.
"Cassie," I questioned as she came over and kissed my cheek, "what are you doing?"
"I just had a hankering for ice cream." She smiled.
We both knew that wasn't what I meant, and we both knew she lived 30 minutes away.
I guess she follows Adrian on Instagram.
"You drove thirty minutes for ice cream?"
I couldn't see who let out a scoff at my statement but, I knew who it was anyway.
"Who are you?" Cassie asked turning her attention to Ashton.
"I'm Ashton." She said with a fake smile planted on her face.
"Great," Cassie narrowed her eyes, "I'm-"
"The dumb fuck? Yeah. Andy told me about you."
Adrian chocked on air at his sister's statement and frankly, so did I. Presley Sydney and Gracie however, thought it was the funniest thing in the world.
"Excuse me," Cassie took a step towards the other side of the table before I pulled her back, "who do you think you are?"
"You're mom."
God damnit Jo.
Ashton's poor timing caught me off guard and, caused me to chuckle a bit which gave Cassie the opportunity to slip from my grip. In a flash she was in front of Ashton, pulling her out of her chair by her ponytail.
"Oh bitch," I picked Presley up as she attempted to grab Cassie's hair, "let me go!"
Sydney moved back from the table and took Gracie with him as Ashton got out of Cassie's grip and pushed her to the ground.
"Ashton stop it!" I yelled as a crowd started to form around us.
She landed a couple punches before her brother picked her up.
Where'd she learn to punch so...well?
"What the fuck are you doing? Put me down?"
"You good to get back to my place on your own?" Adrian asked which caused me to nod my head.
He then proceeded to pull Ashton out of the restaurant but, not before she had the chance to spit in Cassie's face.
"What the fuck?" Cassie exclaimed.
Her makeup was all messed up and blood ran from her nose but, I couldn't care less. I found myself worrying over Ashton instead.
"What the fuck is her problem?"
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair as I tried to process what the fuck just happened.
"You are," I finally spoke up, "can't you see that? You're the problem."
Then, I was out the door.
