Andy
"Oh shoot." Ashton sighed looking down at her chicken sandwich.
"What is it?"
"Oh nothing," she smiled, "I just, forgot to ask for pickles."
Before she could protest I got up, tracked down our waiter, and asked him for a side of pickles.
"Andy," she giggled as I sat back down, "you didn't have to do that!"
"Don't worry about it," I smiled, "your pickles are on the way."
Ashton rolled her eyes with a smile and took a bite of her food.
"So," I said causing her to focus on me once again, "have you heard of a band called Palaye Royale?"
"Um yeah," Ashton smiled, "they're like my favorite band right now."
"Well," I grinned, "I'm actually good friends with the boys."
Ashton dropped her napkin, and her jaw too.
"Really?"
I nodded with a smirk on my face.
"Not to like, be a fan girl or anything but," she said slowly, "can you like, tell them I said hi? and thank you tell them I said thank you because their music has gotten me through some shi-"
"Ok Jo," I chuckled, "calm down."
"Sorry," She sighed composing herself, "I just really like their music."
"I get it," I said, "but, maybe you can tell them yourself?"
Ashton's eyes widened, "Wh- what?"
"Yeah," I chuckled, "we're set to tour together this summer and, since they're album just came out-"
"The Bastards?" She said getting excited again.
"Yes," I nodded, "and they're having a release party in a few days and, I was wondering if you wanted to come?"
"Um," she squealed before taking a second to calm herself down, "yeah...I think that'd be...fun."
The way Ashton's voice switched to a monotone made me burst into laughter.
"I'll be cool, I promise." She said making me laugh even harder.
After a moment, I finally started to compose myself and Ashton started looking around like she had lost something.
"Everything ok?" I asked, concern painting my face.
"Huh," She looked up into my eyes and let out a small chuckle, "yeah. I just- I think I forgot my phone."
"Oh. Is it in the car?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure," She sighed, "I just wanted to keep it on me in case Adrian called but, it's ok."
"I can go get it." I smiled starting to stand up.
"No Andy, you don't have to do that, I don't need it."
"It's fine," I said ignoring her objection, "I'll be right back ok?"
She sent me a quick thank you before I was out the door.

Ashton"Here are your pickles!" The waiter smiled at me as he set a small dish of pickles.
"Oh! Thank you so much!" I smiled back.
"Absolutely," He nodded before starting to walk away from the table, turning back around and coming back, "hey uh where'd your friend go?"
I looked back up to him to see a smirk on his face.
"Uh," I squirmed feeling a little uncomfortable, "he- he went to the car to grab something."
"Oh now I'd never be able to do that." He said leaning closer to me.
"Do- do what?" I asked my gaze focusing on the white table cloth in front of me.
Is no one seeing this?
"Leave a woman like you," he growled moving his lips toward my ear, "all alone, by herself."
"You know what a woman like me does when she's all by herself?" I asked standing up from my chair.
The waiter nodded eagerly before I kneed him in the groin.
"That," I said grabbing my bag, "you piece of shit."
I stormed out of the restaurant before realizing that it was pouring rain.
"Great." I muttered to myself before starting the walk back to the car.
"Andy!" I called.
I wasn't looking for him, I was looking at the ground trying not to trip over my own heels.
"And-"
I finally looked up to see Cassie pressing him up against his car, and kissing his lips. When he heard my voice, he pushed her off instantly but, it was too late. I had already seen what I needed to.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were," I paused trying to hold back my tears, "busy."
I turned around and started heading back to the restaurant.
"No Jo wait," Andy called after me, "Ashton please! That wasn't what it looked like."

Andy"Sorry, I didn't know you were...busy."
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
I had gone back to get Ashton's phone and why was Cassie there? I don't know. She seemed to have a knack for showing up exactly when she shouldn't. I told her to go back home but, she didn't listen. Instead, she pinned me up against my car and kissed me. I'll admit that I got lost in it for a second but, she wasn't the one I wanted.
She wasn't the one I loved.
"Ashton please." I said finally catching up to her.
"Can we just talk about it?"
She flinched as I grabbed her arm.
"I'm sorry- I didn't mean-"
Ashton put her hand up to cut me off, "Andy it's fine ok?"
Wait- what?
"Wait- what?"
"It's fine." she shrugged before walking away again.
"Asht-"
"Andy," she stopped, turning around to look at me, "we're not together."
Ouch.
"I'm not mad. You can kiss whoever you want. I mean I think you're dumb as fuck for choosing her of all fucking people but, I'm not mad. I wish you would've at least told me that you wanted to still see other people but, I'm not mad." She rambled.
"Are you sure?" I asked not believing her for one second.
"No I'm not," she finally snapped, "I'm actually really mad at you and don't want to talk about it! So, given the fact that I kneed the waiter in the dick before running out of the restaurant without paying for our food, I think we should head back."
"I- ok let's go," I said before processing what she just said, "wait- you did what to the waiter?"
