Ashton

"Do you want me to make you something to eat?"
Adrian asked as we walked through the front door.

"No I'm ok"

I was in the hospital for 5 agonizing days but, they were kind enough to send me home with a lovely cast on my arm. Note the sarcasm. I guess wearing a cast for 6 weeks would be better than- I don't know- death I guess.

"Are you sure you don't need anything before-" Adrian started.

"Dee! I'm fine I swear." I rolled my eyes.

"Ok," he nodded, "Andy will be here in like 2 minutes. He left the hospital right after us."

Adrian had to fly to Los Angeles for a meeting about the album he's going to start soon so, Andy was going to be staying for at least another week.

"Yeah. I get it," I sighed, "then you're leaving again."

"Ash."

"It's fine ok? I'm just gonna go to my room."

I kind of limped up to my bedroom before shutting myself in and breaking down in tears. The doctor gave me news that I wasn't sure how to tell anybody else.

But suffering alone might kill me.

Andy

"Hey man," Adrian gave me a tight lipped smile as I walked through the front door, "Ashton's in her room. She has been since we got home."

"Oh ok," I nodded, "how is she?"

"Not great," He sighed, "I mean she's been super off since we got home but, she won't tell me what's wrong."

"Oh," I rubbed my hand down my face, "do you mind if I go up and check on her?"

"Go for it."

I start up the stairs before Adrian calls my name again, "Andy?"

"Yeah?"

"Is there something going on between you two?"

My face reddened immediately and I'm sure Adrian could see it from the couch, "not unless it's ok with you."

Adrian chuckled, "It's ok bro. I trust you but, if you hurt her. I'll fuck you up."

"Noted."

And with that, I proceeded to finish my route, and knocked on her door.
