I woke up to the feeling of a ton of bricks laying inside my head.

I did not miss this feeling.

I guess I was thinking of more than one feeling. The feeling of a hangover, the feeling of loneliness. Without paying attention to my surroundings I opened the curtain to my bunk and threw myself out of it. I wanted to get off of the bus considering we were at our next stop and, I always liked checking out the venues beforehand but, I didn't make it past the couch. I made it to the couch, which honestly is impressive and more than I should've been hoping for. I lied down before pressing my wrist to my forehead. I examined the bracelets on my arm zoning in on one that was a gift from Ashton before looking at the sound of the bathroom door opening.

"Oh uh- sorry." She said switching her weight from foot to foot nervously.

I missed her voice.

It's only been one day but, I missed everything.

"I didn't know you were awake," Ashton chuckled shyly, "I mean I thought it was weird you were sleeping in but you had a big night- sorry I'm rambling."

"It's ok," I smiled instantly feeling a little better at the sight of her, "I needed to be up anyhow."

"Baby come back to bed."

Ashton and I both froze at the voice before making our way to my bunk and seeing the sight of Cassie wearing nothing but the shirt I had on last night.

Fucking great.

I couldn't remember what happened but I knew that I was not thinking straight when it did.

"Cassie," I questioned before turning around to stop Ashton from walking out the door, "Jo I-"

I really shouldn't call her that anymore. I lost the right.

"Ashton," I said finally catching up to her outside the bus, grabbing her wrist to keep her from getting further away from me. I instantly let go due to the spark I felt. It felt like someone was shocking my hand and the burning sensation filled me with nothing but regret, "I'm sorry. Cassie was a mistake I was just vulnerable and-"
