Andy
I Ubered back to the house after my fight with Ashton, and that gave me some time to rethink everything. Maybe I was a little harsh but, the fact that she was so fucking oblivious was making me even more mad than I already was.
Maybe I'm overthinking all of this.
My trust issues were shot to hell after Cassie so the possibility of me overthinking this whole thing, was a pretty reasonable number.
I mean, even if there was something happening, it wouldn't be happening in front of me.
Would it?
I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of the front door opening. I took that as my que to leave the kitchen and go upstairs to the guest room before anyone saw me.
"Andy," Ashton called after knocking on the bedroom door, "can I come in."
"It's your room too." I sighed.
I waited for the door to open, and for a minute I thought it wasn't going to, but then Ashton was in the room silently digging through her suitcase. Without a word, she took out her shower stuff, her toothbrush and paste, and a pair of pajamas. She then, zipped her suitcase back up, went to the bathroom, and started the shower. I kind of expected her to say something, anything really, but she didn't. Ashton was the kind of person that just shut down when someone wronged her. I kind of respected it in the sense that it was so easy for her to think before she spoke. I couldn't do that.
Obviously you can't you fuck.
"Where are you going?" I asked as I watched Ashton put her stuff back before heading out the bedroom door.
"The couch."
"Wait," I said causing her to turn around, "uh- do you need a pillow or anything?"
Ashton scoffed before rolling her eyes, "No Andy. I wouldn't want to burden you."
Does she think she's a burden?
Doesn't she get it? I'm scared to lose her.
"I'll just ask one of the boys for something."
Before I can even think, more stupid words leave my stupid mouth, "Yeah. You should ask Remington. I'm sure he'd even let you sleep in his bed tonight."
The look on Ashton's face fell as she stepped back into our room and shut the door.
"Are you serious," She chuckled, "this whole thing is about you being jealous over Remington?"
I focused my gaze on the bed because I realized how stupid it sounded when she said it.
"Remington," Ashton called out as she opened the door once again, "can you come here for a minute?"
Within about 30 seconds Remington was next to Ashton in the doorway, "Yes friend?"
"Do you want to have sex?"
My eyes snapped to Ashton after that question left her mouth.
You're shitting me.
"Um," Remington stuttered before looking between Ashton and I a couple times, "sorry, say that again?"
"Do you want to have sex," Ashton spoke slower that time, "with me."
Remington just started at her for a second before speaking up.
"Listen Ash," Remington stuttered before scratching the back of his neck, "I think you're super pretty and you're a fucking dope person but, you're like a sister to me. Flattered though but, I could never do that to Andy and even if I could, I don't really view our relationship that wa-"
"Thanks that's all I needed bye!"
Before anyone could say anything else, Ashton closed Remington on the other side of the door.
"There you go," she sighed, "you were just being a fucking idiot."
Ashton sent me a smile but, it was a sarcastic one.
"I know and-"
"Goodnight Andy."
With that, she headed downstairs, slamming the door behind her.
