Andy

She what?

I pulled back to look Ashton in the eyes.

"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you," she sobbed, "I didn't even know I was pregnant and, I definitely am not ready for a kid but, it still hurts like a bitch."

"Shh," I said rocking us back and forth, "it's ok. You told me now and that's all that matters. You don't have to go through this by yourself ok?"

"We have to be there for Ashton right now."

Adrian's words rung through my head as I buried my face into Ashton's hair. This was hurting me just as much as it was hurting her.

I could've had a kid.

We could've had a kid.

I pushed the thoughts away as I kissed Ashton's forehead. I didn't matter right now. She did.

"Hey," I smiled as I looked at her face again, "how about some ice cream?"

She nodded her head wiping her eyes with the sleeve of my hoodie that she was wearing.

"How about we call the girls and Syd and ask them to meet us?"

She nodded again, "I'll call them. I think I should tell them what happened."

"Do you want to tell Adrian too?"

"No," She shook her head immediately, "I don't want to tell him until he gets back. He doesn't need another reason to worry."

I gave her a small smile before kissing her head, "I don't know how you do it."

She looked up to me with a questioning look on her face.

"You've been through so much shit," I sighed, "the universe has given you more than enough reasons to be selfish but, you still put everyone you care about ahead of your self."

"When you love someone, putting them first comes naturally."

Yeah, I'm beginning to know what you mean.
