Ashton

"Do you want to come with me?" Andy asked getting up off of the couch and putting a pair of grey sweats on.

"No," I sighed, "I mean- yeah but, I don't think I should."

I too got off the couch before throwing his t-shirt over my body.

"Well I do," Andy smiled before kissing my cheek, "why shouldn't you?"

"Because," I laughed as he bit my shoulder, "Adrian didn't invite me. He invited you."

"So what?"

"Andy," I sighed before pushing him away so he could look at me, "he wants to talk to you. Maybe there's a reason you know? If he's going to say what's on his mind with you than I don't want to fuck that up."

Andy sighed before pulling me in for a hug and giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Ok," He pulled back with a smile, "I'll tell you everything when I get back ok?"

"Ok," I pecked his lips, "be careful. I love you."

Andy smiled brightly as he walked out the door.

"I will and, I love you."

"Hey man." Adrian nodded as he walked over to the outdoor table I was sitting at.

I stood up and took him in to a hug before we both sat back down.

"I got you a coffee so I hope that's what you're feeling." I laughed awkwardly.

"Yeah that's good," Adrian said scratching his neck, "uh thanks."

I nodded before we fell into an awkward silence for a couple minutes.

"So uh," I cleared my throat, "what's going on?"

"I uh," Adrian paused for a minute, "I fucked up man."

"I know that."

"Yeah I know you know but-," Adrian paused again to keep himself from getting emotional, "I can't do this. I can't be who she wants me to be now. Like how am I supposed to do it? Every time I try to get off it I feel like I'm gonna have a fucking heart attack."

"Yeah," I chuckled dryly, "trust me I know. It's hard but, you have to be the one to decide to do it. You can't just get clean because someone tells you to. You have to want to get your shit together for whatever reason."

"Yeah." Adrian sighed.

Our conversation was cut off by someone bringing us our drinks. I took a sip of the iced coffee I got before speaking.

"Yeah," I said, "so what are you going to do?"

"What did you do?"

"What?"

"How'd you do it I mean," Adrian chuckled awkwardly, "get clean or whatever."

I took a second to think about my response.

"I went to rehab," I shrugged, "I mean I tried really hard to do it on my own but, I just couldn't. There's nothing wrong with reaching out for help."

Adrian nodded and wiped a few tears that had strayed down his face before taking a sip of his coffee.

"Do you think I can fix this," Adrian finally asked, "me and Ashton I mean."

"Well, you sure as hell can try."
