Ashton

"How about we go to the beach?" Remington suggested.

The Palaye boys and I were chilling in their living room trying to figure out what to do with our one and only free day in LA before tour. I had never been in LA before so, I didn't really want to spend the day inside.

"I like that idea," I smiled, "I'll go ask Andy if he wants to come, and throw on a swimsuit."

"Hey babe?" I called out as I entered the guest room Andy and I were sharing for tonight.

Andy didn't say anything.

"Andy." I said as I walked to the edge of the bed and tapped his foot.

"What?" He said finally looking up from his phone.

I didn't like his tone very much but, I chose to ignore it.

"Do you wanna go to the beach?" I asked as I walked to my suitcase to pick out a bikini.

"Uh I don't know," He shrugged, "I think the jet lag is kicking in I might just stay back."

"Oh," I said looking back to him, "Ok I'll just tell the guys you're staying here."

"Are they all going with?" He asked kind of straightening his position a bit.

"Um...yeah?" I chuckled.

Andy got off of the bed and grabbed a pair of black swim trunks from his suitcase.

"What are you doing?" I questioned.

"Putting on my swimsuit." He shrugged.

"I thought you weren't coming." I chuckled.

"I changed my mind."

He walked into the bathroom that was connected to the guest room, and slammed the door behind him.

Someone's menstruating.

I threw my curls into a high bun, change into my swimsuit, and grabbed my sunglasses. I then threw on a pair of light wash levi 501 shorts, and went back downstairs to wait for Andy to finish getting ready.

"Last one to the water is a rotten fuck." Remington yells.

I threw my bag and sunglasses down before taking my shorts off and sprinting towards the ocean. I wasn't even sure if anyone else accepted the challenge but I didn't care because if they did, they were behind me and that meant I was winning.

"Ha," I shouted coming out from under the waves, "suck it shitheads!"

I laughed as Remington came running in to the water and tackled me under it. I popped back above water only to jump on him and shove him under.

"Hey," He said flailing around trying to get out of my grip, "dearest brothers of mine please- fucking help me!"

I laughed some more as I let him go before focusing on Andy who was by our stuff laying out towels and everything.

"Uh oh," Sebastian teased from the water, "looks like Andy's the rotten fuck!"

The four of us screamed at Andy incoherently causing him to briefly pause his actions to flip us off.

He seemed upset to me. If I'm being honest he's seemed upset since the ride from the airport earlier. I didn't know what was going on, mostly because he wouldn't talk to me. It was both confusing and frustrating as fuck.

I walked out of the water and to our spot in the sand, "Hey baby."

"Hi."

Andy had finished laying out our beach towels and took a seat in one. I took a seat on the one next to him.

"Is everything ok?" I asked propping myself back on my elbows.

"mmhmm."

I leaned over and kissed his shoulder before speaking again.

"Andy."

No response.

"Andy."

No response.

Jesus fucking christ.

"Andrew!"

He finally looked at me.

"Tell me what's going on." I chuckled.

"I-"

"Ashton," Remington yelled as he walked back to us, "Emerson Sebastian and I are gonna play volleyball, you in?"

"Yeah," I smiled, "can you just give me a minute though?"

Remington nodded before grabbing the volleyball and walking with his brothers towards the nets that were set up in the sand.

"You should go." Andy shrugged.

"I will," I shrugged back, "after you tell me what the hell is up with you."

Andy just shrugged again.

What the fuck dude.

"Alright fine." I shrugged.

If you can shrug so the fuck can I.

"Listen," I said as I got up from my towel, "whatever the fuck is going on, can you save it for later? You're kind of being an asshole."

"I'm sorry I can't control my fucking feelings." Andy finally snapped.

"You don't have to control your feelings Andy," I said, my voice raising to match his, "just maybe try fucking talking about it!"

"I think I should go."

"Yeah go," I muttered, throwing the towel I had used  to dry my face down next to him, "just run away instead having a conversation like the grown fucking man you're supposed to be."

"Ok Ashton."

Ashton? Ouch.

"Fuck you," I yelled, "just fucking go you dick."

I didn't wait for a response before walking away to where the Palaye boys were waiting for me because, I was ready to slap him and that wasn't ok.

I don't even wanna play fucking volleyball anymore.
