Andy
"What's up fella?" Sebastian smiled as he gave me a bro hug.
"It's my favorite Ashton!"
I looked over to see Remington tackling Ashton in a hug.
"Hey," I chuckled, "do me a favor and don't break my girlfriend before we even get on the bus."
"Listen," Remington said ignoring me, "there are so many things we have to do."
"Rem," Emerson sighed smacking his brother in the shoulder, "they just got off the plane can you give it a minute."
"I. Missed. My. Best. Friend." Remington said hitting the back of Emerson's head in between each word.
"Ok boys," Ashton laughed, "let's get going shall we?"
Emerson shoved Remington causing Remington to shove him back before flipping him off.
"Do they always do this?" I asked keeping my focus on the small brawl in front of me.
"Yeah," Sebastian sighed, "we all do. This one isn't even that serious."
"Oh."
"Hey," Ashton said separating the two, "come on."
"Sorry Ash." They both mumbled.
We all made our way to a black van that was waiting for us outside of the airport.
"So Ashton," Sebastian called from the passenger seat, "have you ever been to LA before?"
"No," She said as she shook her head, "actually the only states I've been to are the ones I've lived in."
"Which ones are those?" Emerson questioned.
"Pennsylvania and New York." she shrugged.
"Shit that's it?" Remington chimed in.
"Yeah I've never really had the opportunity for traveling."
"Well you do now." I smiled as I rested my hand on her thigh.
Ashton sent me a small smile.
"So listen," Remington said from the back seat, "we don't get the bus until tomorrow and, since there's only five of us, we figured it would be more economical- and fun- to just share a bus. What do ya think?"
Ashton's smile got even brighter, "I think that would be great Remi."
"Good. I'm glad you think so because it's kind of to late to book another bus- wait," Remington sighed after rambling for a moment, "did you call me Remi? what happened to ratatouille?"
"Well I thought you didn't like that nickname?" Ashton smirked.
"No I liked it," Remington smiled, "but only when it came from you."
That rubbed me the wrong way.
"Yeah I wouldn't get too excited," I shrugged taking in the confused look on his face, "Remi is the name of the actual rat. Ratatouille is just the movie."
The smile on Remington's face dropped as everyone else in the van started laughing their asses off.
"Just fucking great." He yelled, laughing a bit himself.
"I'm sorry I- I-," Ashton paused to laugh, "I didn't even think about that but it's fucking hilarious."
"You're lucky I like you." Remington scoffed.
She's lucky you fucking what?
I clenched my jaw before focusing my attention out the window. Everyone else just kept talking and, laughing. I didn't want to look at Ashton or Remington because I couldn't tell what meaning his words carried and, it was pissing me off.
I turned my attention back to Ashton when I felt her tap my hand.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
I didn't say anything because I didn't feel like making a scene. I just nodded and looked back out the window.
