Well today was finally Christmas! We had all slept in the lounge room like usual and I was so thankful that Bradley was out of hospital it made today one of the best Christmases ever!
This morning just seemed quite normal. I mean yes we all love Christmas cause who the hell doesn't but we didn't sleep until like 6AM then woke up at 8 since the families and stuff were coming at 9:15AM. So we were all quite tired.
Since I slept in shorts and an atl shirt I quickly ran up and put on some sweatpants soon walking out to see Connor standing waiting for me.
"What are you doing?" I asked "I just wanted to say I'm proud of you" he said "what for?" I was legit confused. "Tristan and I had just come across this tweet you tweeted then deleted ages ago saying how you hope you don't live to Christmas little loan the new year and I thought you've been through so much yet your still here. I'm proud of you ash. You're winning the battle" he said "thank you Connor. That means a lot but I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help" I thanked him.
Of corse Natalie had to be the one who came up to tell us the families were here! And to top it off Connor and I were being all cuddly and kissy when she walked in. "Hey. Love bugs, downstairs please" she said all happy and stuff "oh and keep your lips to yourself" she slightly laughed as we walked downstairs "and if we don't?" I jokingly asked "I will personally cut the lips off you two lovey doveys" she smirked at us.
After everyone entered the house the boys just went straight to their siblings except Brad, nat and I. Brad went to Millie. I think nat followed him to mills also and I went to Lewie.
As much as I hated that boy, I loved being around him and actually having what feels like a real younger brother.
"Sup butt brain?" I walked over to him "nothing much. What about you ferret face?" He asked and Connor couldn't help but to laugh at the bond Lewie and I had.
I'm not gonna get into too much detail about what's happened and stuff but it was now currently 3:20PM and Connor and I were about to go to his family thing which I was a little worried about cause his auntie and stuff but I was sorta happy as I am around Connor.
We decided it was probably time to get dressed so Connor changed into his atl whiskey princess shirt thing, a red flannel, black ripped skinny jeans and some full black converse and I put on a suspender skirt, skeleton tank top, tights and some little black bootie heels and a fitted leather jacket (outfit 1 above).
We got downstairs and Brad decided to joke around "where's ash?" He said "haha very funny" I sarcastically said "I know for a fact your not ash considering she always wears ripped up skinny jeans or if she goes anywhere near tights they are also ripped" he did make a point "well I'm feeling a little different today" I smirked "and what's this. Gasp. No band shirts" he kept messing with me "no band shirt but I still got my wristbands" I smirked.
After a while we got to his house and although I'd been to a lot of his family things I felt anxious. I don't know why but I felt like passing out.
"Oh look you actually got dressed" Lewie joked as we walked in "sadly I had to. But I got my heels on so im taller then you. Sucker" I joked around as Connors aunt walked over, of course!
"Merry Christmas Con" she hugged Connor as I just stood laughing with Lewie. "What? You don't have your own brother to joke with and love?" She asked me "I do. But I've always wanted a younger sibling and I guess Lewie's the closest I'm getting" I tried to be nice "and tell me. Why are you here and not with your parents and extra family?" She asked "most of my family lives hours away or in Australia, my dad is in jail and mum is spending Christmas in America, in hospital" I said almost shedding a tear "why are you so weak? You need to learn to build a bridge and get over it" she spat "I. Uh. I" I started before Connor wrapped his arms around my waist as he stood behind me and spoke for me. "Everyone gets sentimental every now and again. Just because ash has a heart and feels pain unlike you" he sounded a tad annoyed at his aunt "can't you see. I'm not the only one who hates her. All your fans do. This family hates her. Isn't that right Lewie?" She asked Lewie "actually I love Ashleigh. We hate each other but I love her. She's the sister I never got because I was stuck with a stupid brother" he said and I couldn't help but to giggle at what he said about Con "I'm glad you like ash but dude, cmon me, stupid? Yeh right" Connor joked.
Their aunt left us alone after realizing she was wrong and with that we just kept talking.
As it got later Connor and I decided to go for a little walk in the snow and it was beautiful.
It wasn't coming down too hard but fairly soft and it was pilled on the ground quite a bit but I still managed to survive in my heels.
"What you said earlier. That was really sweet. Thank you for sticking up for me" I thanked Connor "I'll always be on your side. You deserve an immortal amount of happiness. Especially after the long ass year you've been through" he wrapped an arm around my shoulders "I love you Con. Not once did you ever abandon me when I needed someone to hug or rant to. You don't usually abandon me its just this year felt a billion times worse then any other so you get it" I sorta rambled "I'll always be there for you ash" Connor kissed my cheek "and I hope you always will" I smiled "with that in mind I gotta ask you something. Ashleigh. I know we're both quite young but I do know that I want to spend my life with you and I don't want to pressure you into anything but, will you make me the happiest guy on earth and marry me?" He asked and a huge smile grew on my face "yes Connor! 1000 times yes!" I soon hugged him.
So that actually happened!! Connor and I are engaged!! I may or may not have started tearing up as we were hugging. I get to spend the rest of my life with this doofus! I know I'm only 17 and a half and he's not far off 19 so we're quite young but I've spent 12 and a half years with him already and I now wanted to spend the rest of my life by his side!

THATS IT! book number one is finished! How cute is that though? Connor and Ashleigh are engaged!! Sometimes when I feel sad I pretend I'm Ashleigh after a fight or something and that Connors my bf but then I realized Ashleigh is a made up character in a book I'm writing! Haha
