Chapter 38

STILL CONNORS POV

I woke up the next morning to see Ashleigh still asleep. She looks so beautiful when she slept. Well she looks beautiful all the time but thats beside the point.

Anyway the boys and i were all going to joes for some band thing today and honestly I really didn't want to leave Ashleigh's side though. I'm fully aware that she's 18 and can take care of herself and that she doesn't need me around 24/7 but I just worried about her. Especially when she's all emotional over the hate. I know what she's capable of and I don't want to come home one day and see that she's hurt herself because of what those stupid people think!

It wasn't long until Ashleigh woke up.

"Stop staring at me you creep" was the first thing she said as she looked at me laughing tiredly. "Well it's not my fault you're so beautiful is it?" I smiled "stop lying" she hid her face in my chest as she cuddled up to my side "I'd never lie to you" I brushed some hair from her face.

After laying in silence for a couple minutes James walked in with Brad trailing behind him.

"Hey Con. We're leaving in 20" they said to me "don't leave me" ash looked up at me. "I'm sorry darling I have to" I said seeing the sad expression in her face "but I need you" she said "I'm so sorry ash. I promise I'll make it up to you!" I felt bad. I mean she's going through quite a lot right now and I'm just leaving her all alone. Sure she's got the girls here with her but she said something about how they don't exactly help her but instead try to force her to do stuff.

I finally got up and ready with 10 minutes to spare and I wanted to spend as much as that time with Ashleigh!

"Do you have to go?" She asked "you know I have to. I'm really sorry though" I held onto her hand "you shouldn't feel sorry. It's my fault I feel like shit" she said "no it's not. It's those stupid people who send you hate" I was a tad annoyed at the thought of it "don't blame them. It was my idea to put myself on the Internet and all that. I knew there would be people who gave me hate when I started uploading on YouTube or even dating you" she said "I don't care it's not right! You're doing what you want and you're happy doing that but they're hating all the things you do! I mean if they really don't like you then they shouldn't feel the need to watch all your videos and keep up with what you're doing 24/7 just so they can hate on it! That's completely stupid! They need to just grow up and get a life of their own!!" I said getting more annoyed "Connor. It's okay. You don't need to get all worked up about it" Ashleigh tried to comfort me "I'm sorry ash. I just care about you so much it kills me to see people hate on you or hurt you" I said sounding apologetic "you're so sweet but you really don't need to put so much thought into the haters" she smiled "when they upset you I do" I said.

After a while the other guys and I left.

ASHLEIGHS POV

"I'll see you later okay?" Connor said as he was about to leave "please don't let their stupid words get to you darling" he kissed my cheek "I'll try my absolute hardest" I smiled to him and with that he left.

Don't get me wrong I loved hanging out with the girls but there was nothing I wanted to do more then just lay in bed all day and watch reruns of friends but they had other ideas.

I ended up giving in and got dressed in the basic black skinny jeans, black fob band shirt, 3/4 sleeve dark green flannel, black and white converse hi tops and I did some light makeup and put on my glasses and I was ready to go out wherever they were going.

SHELLYS POV

We ended up going to some mall thing towards the center of town and unlike everyone else Ash didn't look too happy to be out and about.

We all agreed on what shops we wanted to go into and of course Ashleigh had no input!! Don't get me wrong she's amazing but sometimes she really did bug me.

"Are you gonna get anything?" I asked her "I dunno. I don't really have much money that I can just spend on whatever I want" she said "what do you mean?" I questioned "I mean the small amount of money I make is put towards things for the baby or to pay bills. I don't get much money left over to buy things I want" she said "but don't you get paid to upload videos onto YouTube?" I asked "nope. I don't want YouTube to me my job. I don't want to get paid to put anything online. I've turned down so many people who have offered me money to review their item which they've also given me for free because I just can't do that! It's not what I want to do" she said "but if you got paid from YouTube and all that then you'd have more money for the baby, the bills and to buy yourself stuff" I stated the obvious "I know but that's not what I want to do. I mean if I'm desperate for money for the baby or food or bills then I'd consider accepting some of those paying requests but  that's only if I'm desperate" she told me.

I mean honestly I think she's stupid for not wanting to get paid to put YouTube videos up but hey it's not my life so I can't really complain.

All throughout the day Ashleigh hardly ever took her earphones out I'm pretty sure she was messaging Connor nonstop!!!

Ashleigh's an amazing friend but sometimes she's really gotta just not worry about what the fans say and actually enjoy herself!

It wasn't long until Chloe took Ashleigh's phone!
