Chapter 41

"Are you okay?" He asked laughing at how I kept moving around to get comfy "no I can't get comfy. It's not funny" I laughed at him "come here then" he said as I sat in his lap and he started drawing random things on my belly with his finger which tickled a bit.

We'd almost finished watching the first Harry Potter when Connor stopped drawing on my belly and just sat his hand on it.

"Please tell me you felt that" I turned to him as he was nodding "did the baby just kick?" He questioned "yup. Aww the baby loves you" I said smiling "either that or the baby hates me and wants you all to themselves" he smirked "hold on what's the date?" I asked "November 27th. Why?" He asked "we get to find out the gender tomorrow" I smiled more "I've never seen you this happy. It's cute" Connor smiled "well I'm excited. This baby is killing me but I'm excited!" I said.

"Ash? Wake up" I heard Connor but tried to ignore him "I know you're awake" he poked my cheek "are you dying?" I asked "no" he said "then why did you wake me?" I asked him "it's almost 11" he said "yeh but you're not dying so you should let me stay here" I mumbled "I'm gonna keep poking you until you get up" he said poking my face "coooonnnnooorrrr" I whined "aaasssshhhhhhh" he mimicked me "let me sleep" I kept whining "please" he said "but I don't wanna get up" I kept my eyes closed the whole time "okay then. I'll give you one last chance to get up on your own" he said "or else what?" I mumbled "or else this" he put me over his shoulder "here hold this" he handed me the camera which was recording "you've been recording me!" I said "haha you're welcome" he laughed "let me down" I hit his butt as that's around where my hands went to "no. Never" he said walking to the closet "take the camera and put me down" I laughed "here put these on and I will" he said getting some of my clothes "fine" I gave in "just don't record me getting dressed" I smirked putting in the sweatpants and vamps band tee on.

"Really? This is what you picked? I don't even like the band on this top" I said "you look pretty dressed like that" he said "I'm surprised I got the shirt on the right way. You know because you didn't let me grab my glasses" I said as he put them on my face "thank you" I smiled.

"Excited about finding the gender?" He asked "you bet! I hope it's a boy" I smiled as Connor was doing my hair while we waited for his mum to come pick us up "really? Why?" He asked "because boys are better then girls. Anyone who disagrees is lying! Guys don't have to deal with all the bitchy drama girls do. And you go through puberty once and it's done where as its every month for a girl and that's hell" I told him "you don't have to deal with that for another 14-16 years" he said as he finished my hair.

It wasn't long until his mum showed up and Connor came up with the idea that I could drive so I was driving, Kelly was in the passenger seat and Connor was sitting behind Kelly. Honestly I was nervous since this was my first time driving with Connor in the car.

"Geez you're a terrible driver" he joked as we reached the hospital "in my defense I never drive and I was really scared to drive to begin with" I said "what's that mean?" He asked "last time I drove someone almost crashed into the car and I was scared that the same thing would happen this time except they actually crashed into the car and that you'd get hurt" I said "awe you're cute" he kissed my cheek.

"Ashleigh?" A nurse walked out asking and honestly I was so nervous! "It's gonna be okay babe" Connor whispered seeing how nervous I was.

The lady had put the goo stuff on my belly and I honestly couldn't even look down at my stomach. I couldn't look at the scar. I'm happy with how my life is right now and I didn't want to be reminded of something so terrible.

"Okay so the baby is perfectly fine. Obviously they're in good care with you two. Now would you like to know the gender?" She questioned and I could see that Kelly was more nervous then Connor and I.

"You'll be glad to know that you're baby is a girl" the lady said and I looked at Connor with the biggest smile I've ever had!!!

"We're having a baby girl" I said once we got to the car park "aw Ashleigh. Come here babe" he said as I shed a few tears hugging him "it's true. We are actually having a kid together!" I looked up at him "you bet we are. You're going to be an amazing mum" he said.

Kelly took us home and the other boys and girls crowded us before we could even step foot into the house "what's the gender?!" They all asked "we're having a baby girl" I smiled and they all freaked out.

After all the excitement died down everyone went back to doing what they were originally doing.

Connor and I were laying on the bed just thinking and talking and it was nice.

I loved doing nothing like this. It was nice and relaxing to just lay around and talk to Connor about whatever was on my mind.

"Connor there's something I really gotta tell you" I sat up "what's wrong?" He questioned "remember how I was saying I wanted to get better for good this time? Well I kinda booked a session with a therapist" I told him. I don't know why I was so nervous to tell him I just didn't know how he'd react "I'm so proud of you princess" he smiled at me "I mean there's no guarantee that it'll make me better. I mean I've seen a therapist hundreds of times over this but I wanna start off with something that's not too hard to make time for and get to on time and it ant too expensive" I told him "I'm glad that you're determined to get better darling. Just remember I'll always be here for you if you need" he said "thank you Connor" I kissed his cheek.
