Chapter 33

Today was the day! Connor and I were seeing all time low!!

I recently got my gigantic cast off and for that little more support I had to get a bandage and bandage it up AND I had to use my crutches no matter what. Which by the way sucks donkeys balls!!

"Ready my dear?" Connor came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist as I was looking at myself in the mirror. "Yeh" I sighed "what's wrong?" He asked "the fans. But I'll be okay. As long as you're by my side" I looked up at him "I love you darling. Stay strong. Don't let them win" he kissed me.

We got to the hotel we were staying at since the concert was 2 and a half away from where we lived.

"Geez Connor. This must have cost a fortune!" I said looking around "anything for you" he said "Connor. Please don't spend a ton on me" I said "you deserve it all" he came up behind me "as long as I'm with you I could live on the streets and I'd still be happy" I said truthfully!

The concert started and my face lit up so much just seeing them on stage and being right in front of them!

"Thank you. Thank you so much Connor" I yelled as I hugged him "anything for my love" he said into my ear soon kissing it hugging me back.

Once the concert ended Connor and I waited for the crowd to die down before trying to leave.

"I swear to god this is in the top 3 of my favorite moments" I said "top 3? What's before it?" He questioned "number 1 is meeting you 12 years ago and number 2 is the day you asked me to be your girlfriend. Best days of my life" I told him "you're such a little cutie" he kissed my noes "duh. And you just realized this?" I joked.

We soon went backstage and I swear to god I couldn't breath. 1) it was all time low!!! 2) Hannah, Rachel and Caitlin were there!!!

"Connor" I hid my face "it's okay. Just ignore them" he said so I stopped hiding and we walked over to the band.

"So you're Ashleigh?" Alex asked and I nodded looking over at Hannah as she looked at me. "C-c-con-nor" I got out as I was having a panic attack "what's going on?" Alex asked Connor "the girls over there almost killed her so every time she sees them she gets a panic attack" he said "is she okay?" He asked "yeh. She just needs to breath. Cmon Ashleigh. It's ok" Connor hugged me.

I finally stopped dying and actually got to talk to the band.

"Connor told us what was wrong. All I wanna know is why? Why do you hurt yourself like that?" Jack asked "I'm not gonna lie I hate my life. I hate being alive. Everyday I get a ton of hate and I can't take it" I teared up looking at my wrists "where have you cut?" Rian asked "all down both thighs, both my arms, along my stomach, the back of my shoulders, back of my thighs. I think that's it" I said "what else do you put yourself through?" Zack asked concerned "for a month earlier this year I starved myself. I don't actually think there's anything else" I said "I'm not telling you to kill yourself but if you wanna die so much why are you alive?" Alex asked me "I'm alive because. I can't leave Connor. I love him to much to leave. Well him and you said no fan of yours should kill themselves. They're the only reasons" I said.

After talking for 5 minutes I was completely broken.

"I love you all so much but there's no use trying to change my mind about anything. I'm just a stupid, messed up teen. I'm a waste of space. I shouldn't even be here. My parents didn't even ask for me. They were both wasted and when they found out about me they wanted an abortion. I'm an unwanted piece of trash" I cried into my hands "Ashleigh" Connor said in shock "you're not unwanted. We love you so much. You may be a stupid, messed up teen but we all are at one point. You just need to find yourself. I know how it feels to be unwanted and trust me Ashleigh. It's up to you wether you wanna fix that or if you chose to die. We can't fully convince you to stay alive but if you die, it'll accomplish nothing. Life gets better babe. Just believe in yourself" Alex said putting an arm around my shoulder as I cried into his shoulder softly.

It soon got really late so Connor and I had to leave but before we did I had to do something.

"Take this. It's one of the very few things that makes me 'happy' but I guess I should stop and it'll make me feel happier knowing that it's far far away from me" I handed Alex the blade I turned into a anklet and took with me everywhere "you're doing good kiddo" he said.
