Chapter 55

A few days have past and the boys got called in to do some Christmas cover for the fans so Shelly, aurora and I all decided to just hang out and have a 'girls day in'.

"Tell us about yourself, aurora" Shelly said "there's not much to say. I've always lived in Birmingham. My family is the best group of people I've ever known and I work at Claire's. That's pretty much it. My life is very basic" she said. We all kept talking for a while before I got a message from Brad.

Braddy Boii 💩: you chose well, boyfriend wise 😂😁

He sent with a video attached of Connor and Tristan mucking about.

Although I tried to not make it very noticeable that I was laughing the girls still caught me. "What's so funny?" Shelly asked so I explained the video and showed them.

"I'm so glad my boyfriend is normal" Shelly said "c'mon. We all know he isn't. I mean have you met him?" Aurora said causing me to die in laughter.

Somehow, while talking about the guys, we got to Connor and I.

"You know he's a real lucky guy to have someone like you" Shelly said "you're super sweet but if anything I'm lucky to have him. He's the best thing in my life" I told them "that's the cutest thing ever!" Aurora said "I'm not gonna a lie I was and still am a ConLeigh fan! Tell me what your relationship is actually like instead of what the media shows?" She asked "if you really wanna know. It's different. We play around and abuse each other all the time. We say we hate each other. We play fight. We just generally act as though we hate each other but in every 'I hate you' is an 'I love you'. I'd literally be dead without him. He's my world. I really don't know where I'd be without him to help guide me through life" I started to tear up "I love him" I managed to say wiping the tears before being tackled into a hug. "Wait I need to go do something" I escaped the hug walking into brads room calling Connor.

"Hello Connor?" I asked "hey Ashleigh. What's wrong you sound like you've been crying?" He asked me "when will Yous be back?" I asked "about an hour. Why?" He asked "I want a big hug and to talk. Nothing bad I just need to talk to you about something" I told him.

I sat in my room anxiously waiting for the boys to come home.

Then I heard it! The sound of keys attempting to open the door. Next thing I know the house it full of laughter coming from the boys..

"whats wrong?" he quietly said

I literally ran out of my room and downstairs running towards Connor finally stopping in his arms

"whats wrong?" connor quietly asked "I'll explain later. But for now just shut up and hug me" i smiled laying my head on his shoulder.

We were just standing in the same spot of the lounge room hugging for atleast 5 minutes before we went up into our room.

"What was it you wanted to talk about?" He questioned "Earlier after aurora, Shelly and I watched the video of you and Tristan being complete doofuses aurora asked about our relationship. I told her some stuff and by the end I was crying because I actually realized how much you mean to me. I love you so much and if it wasn't for you I know I would be dead right now. I know I've said it a billion times but I honestly truly love you. Thank you for saving my life and showing me it does get better. Even if my life is not perfect it's much better now then it was 3 years ago" I said almost crying again "Ashleigh. I love you. You've made my life a whole lot better. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be living my dream. You're the best girlfriend a guy could ask for. I honestly don't know what else to say. You literally take the words from my mouth. I truly and utterly love you. And I will until the day I die" he kissed my cheek.

"Have you ever thought about the future?" I asked him as we were laying on the bed cuddling. "Sometimes. Do you?" He looked at me "a lot. More then I should I reckon" I told him "what do you think about?" He sat up "everything. My job, the people around me, my death. But mainly us. I mean are we even together in the future? Does it work out and we have little people brought in this world because of us roaming the house we live in as a family or do we split and find completely different people and are barely friends?" I asked "I can't tell the future but I sure as hell hope that one day we can have our own place with a nice family and we live a nice life together. I cannot imagine myself marrying anyone else" he held my hand.

I loved Connor. He comes off as a quiet shy person but once you get to know him he's the funniest, sweetest, stupidest person ever. 😍😍
