Chapter 35

"Heyy ashhy. Whatcha doing?" Connor walked into our room which I was in. "Editing a video" I sighed "you've been editing for hours" he pointed out "I know but it takes time. You know that" I told him "cmon take a break" he sat on the bed next to the desk where I was "I need to finish this though" I told him "cmon you're tried of editing and you've already been here for hours. You deserve it" he argued "Connor please" I begged him to just let me stay and finish editing "ashleeeiigghhh" he said like a little kid "cooonnnoooorrr" I mocked him "cmon lets just go out for a while" he said spinning the chair I was on so I faced him instead of the computer "where?" I asked "Just somewhere" he smiled "fine. Just give me a sec to get dressed" I said as I was in lazy clothes, meaning connors you me at six shirt, a pair of sweatpants, an old cozy cardigan, my glasses, no makeup and I had my hair up in a pony tail with no extensions so it was hella short and my fringe was out like always !!

"Nup you're ready. Put on some shoes so we can go" he said "Connor seriously" I said trying to get to my clothes but he wouldn't let me past.
"You look amazing just as you are" he said "I love you but please can I change into some actual clothes instead of lazy day clothes?" I asked "no ash. You're not getting past" he smiled as I kept trying to. It was turning more into a game then anything else.

"Why can't I get dressed?" I asked "because there's no point. You look absolutely stunning as you are. There's no way you could look any better. Trust me Ashleigh" he said "but Connor I need to not look like a hobo especially when I'm with you" I said "why especially when you're with me?" He asked "you know what's the fans are capable of" I reminded him "so? I don't care what they think and neither should you. Cmon darling please just put on shoes and come out with me" he said "fine. You win. But only because I'm not in the mood to argue" I told him putting shoes on

"So where are we going?" I asked "I don't know. Did you wanna go get some food?" He asked me "so it's a date?" I raised an eyebrow smirking at him "you can call it that" he smiled.

We ended up at this cute little restaurant and it was amazing !!!

"So you manage to get me to go on a date with you and you won't even let me put on proper clothes?" I laughed "you say it like its a bad thing. Cmon there's no need for you to get all dressed up" he laughed "why not?" I asked wanting to hear what he really had to say "you can disagree if you wish but I don't think we need to get all dressed up to go out together" he said "whys that?" I smiled at him "we're wayy past that stage in both our friendship and relationship where we try to impress the other by looking good and always smelling really nice and all those little things yet the one thing we've kept is dressing nice when going out together. Like yeh I admit it's nice to look good when in public but if you're with your other half alone on a date or whatever you shouldn't need to dress up to impress them and all that. That probably made no sense but yeh" he smiled "that made sense, but now that you've explained it I kinda agree with you" I smiled "can I just ask. Did you really go through the effort to plan a little date and force me to leave in my pajamas just to say that and be all sweet?" I asked "well that and I want to spend as much time as I can with you alone while you're not in complete pain, before the baby comes along. After that it's gonna be hard for us to go out alone" he said "you're the sweetest. I love you" I smiled "I love you too darling" he held onto my hand

After we ate we ended up going shopping as we didn't wanna head home just yet and we had nothing to do.

"Hey ash. They've got a huge makeup sale. Did you wanna check it out?" Connor asked "seriously? You're giving me full permission to look at makeup?!" I asked as he nodded and I grabbed his hand and literally dragged him into the store!

I ended up buying a ton of makeup. Not that I needed more but cause I liked experimenting with colors and designs and you can never have too much makeup!

We ended up going home and despite the fact I still had to finish editing I decided to record a new video !!

"Haii guys it's Ashleigh and I'm here with my boo Connor and I'm gonna do a makeup haul / try on for you guys" I said before starting "to begin with I brought two foundations that are both the same shade which is the lightest shade ever cause I'm a ghost and yeh let's start off with this" I said putting it on his face "this is the most awkward feeling in the world" Connor said and I laughed at him. "Okay so I've never tried this before but yeh by the looks of it, it's my shade which I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE so yeh. Let's keep going!!" I said. "Okay next is eyeshadow. Unfortunately Connor only has two eyes and I brought seven different colored eyeshadows but let's just try this anyway!" I said blending and adding so many different colors to each eye. Meaning one had three colored and one had four. "Awe they look so pretty all together!" I told him. "Next up I brought a new contour kit so let's try to contour Connors face even though it's absolutely perfect as it is but yeh let's just try" I said contouring his face. "What the heck is this? This is magic!! It makes your face all shadowy and weird" he said amazed "you're an idiot! I use it everyday. Except today cause you wouldn't let me get dressed" I smirked. "Okay finally I brought 4 lipsticks. Now 3 of them I've used before and you've all seen. Just the dark red, light brown/skin tone sorta and my ultimate favorite the purple red but today I also brought the black as I've never actually had black lipstick. I've made it using lip balm and then putting eyeshadow on top of that on my lips but I've never owned black lipstick so let's try this out" I said. "That looks beautiful" I said "I look goth" Connor said looking in the mirror "awe my little goth" I cooed smiling at him "we have to test this lipstick" Connor said "what do you mean?" I asked "it has to be kiss proof. Cause I don't want second hand lipstick on my lips every time I kiss you. Which is a lot" he smirked "of course all you care about is the kissing" I laughed soon kissing him. "Happy! It stays on your lips and never transferred to mine" I said "okay good. Now can I take this off?" He questioned "sure" I handed him the makeup removing wipes I also brought. "I'm just glad you didn't buy new mascara or eyelashes" he laughed "I own 6 mascaras and 28 eyelashes. I think I'm right for now" I said as he looked shocked. "Wait Connor. I also brought new contacts if you want to put those in" I said "I can never take them out remember. So I'll put them in but you're taking them out" he said and I agreed.

"How do you even wear contacts? Like you wear contacts day to day. How do you wear contacts without your glasses?" He asked "I don't know. My glasses only recently became a permanent thing and I haven't worn contacts since I got told. I'll probably wear my glasses with them cause that's the only way I can see" I told him as he got the contacts in.

"Okay how many fingers am I holding up?" I asked "3" he said correctly. "Now walk across the room and see how easy it is to see. But be careful there's stuff on the ground" I told him and even after being warned he still tripped into his knees.

"I'm gonna blame the contacts for that fall even though it was my fault but let's blame the contacts" he laughed "but they are a tad hard to see out of" he admitted "cmon boo. I'll take them out then" I said and for some reason Connor thought it was a good idea for my nails to be near his eyes!

"Okay so this was a weird video but yeh. I hope you enjoyed! I'll see all you beautiful people next week" I finished the video
