Meredith's heart was racing. She just needed to see her husband because the doctor had called, with permission from Brad that he could share things with Meredith. So now they were going to have to talk because this was the answer. They knew now why there was trouble conceiving and they knew why. The only thing was that her husband might need her right now. So she opened the front door of her house, wanting nothing more then Brad. "I'm home!"

"Office..." He groaned, calling back as he heard her come in.

"Hey..." She rushed quickly, opening the door and tossing her stuff down. They would be fine.

"How was work?" Brad asked, not looking up from his computer.

"Slow...Bailey let me leave right away when I asked." Meredith pointed out, taking off the sweater she had put on over her outfit and she tossed it to the side of the office.

"Hmm...thats good."

"The doctor called me as I was leaving..." She knew he wouldn't want to talk. He never wanted to talk and she wasn't a talker but they were married and she knew...it was time to talk about this. About that phone call.

"Oh...yeah." Brad sighed, typing something on his laptop before leaning back in his chair and still not looking up at his wife.

"It's okay..." Meredith said warmly.

"I guess we should just stop, huh?"

"That's silly." Meredith rolled her eyes. They knew why this wasn't happening again, but they wouldn't give up. They would make a baby. An amazing baby and things would be fine. "You have slow mobility and a low sperm count but it's not nearly impossible. He said I can take hormone shots and we should pay closer attention to when I'm ovulating. Clomid is a great drug for..."

"Slow mobility and low sperm count..." Bradley shook his head.

"Had nothing to do with the miscarriage." Meredith whispered.

"Did the doctor tell you that?"

"I had an infection...we know that." She reminded him. "We went to St. Barths and I got an infection...I was sick and there was no chance of me getting better without taking medicine and the baby wasn't going to make it..."

"Yeah...I know." He cut her off. He probably hated hearing that story again.

"Brad...you wouldn't let me give up when that happened." Her eyes were soft.

"Maybe it's not supposed to happen."

"The doctor told you...it isn't impossible. We just have to keep trying." Meredith moved closer to the desk. "We like trying. Trying is the best part. We haven't done that in forever..."

"Yeah."

"You got me pregnant once..."She smiled weakly. They used to be all over each other before everything had happened.

"And look how that turned out." Bradley shut his lap top, leaning back in his desk chair.

"That wasn't your fault." Meredith sucked in a deep breath. "He said if it didn't work...There is Clomid and IVF..."

"Do we really want to go that far?"

"A year ago you said you would go as far as it took for us to have a family." She whispered.

"Things were different a year ago."

"How so?"

"They just were."

"But you still want a baby...right?" Meredith asked.

"I don't know...I guess."

"We'll do what it takes...it might be hard or whatever but we can do it." Meredith wasn't used to being the motivational one but being a good wife...it was a leap or whatever and once Brad understood that they had a shot, they would be fine and being weird motivational Meredith might be worth it.
