Meredith was happy. She shouldn't be this happy because she was waiting in a boardroom with her lawyer and Christina. They were waiting for Bradley and his lawyer to come in so they would sign the papers and create a contract on who got to keep what. She was ready for this and she shouldn't be staring at the clock. This was big. She shouldn't be counting down the time until she and Derek would leave for the weekend. "Christina...you can't be all mean Christina with the mean face."

"Why not?" Cristina groaned.

"Because...you're just here to be supportive or whatever." Meredith replied, trying to remember if she packed her swimsuit cover or not. It wasn't like she would need it. Bradley was due in here soon and then they would decide who would take the house and maybe the time share, then she could go home and no longer be married.

"I am..." Cristina looked at Meredith. "Congratulations...or whatever."

"I was up last night most of the time...I could barely sleep." Meredith said.

"I don't want to know about that."

"I kept asking Derek different questions about the trip." Meredith giggled, as her lawyer made some notes.

"Is it normal to celebrate your divorce by going away with another man?"

"It's not celebrating divorce." Meredith rolled her eyes before smiling weakly at the red headed lawyer.

"Sex fest?"

"Christina..." Meredith groaned as the door to the boardroom opened. Bradley walked in with a small file and his lawyer, and older gentleman followed him in.

"Good Morning all, I'm Roger Lockwood." The older man extended his hand to Meredith.

"Hi." Meredith smiled weakly, as he moved on to her lawyer. They had met before which made sense because her lawyer had been communication with Brad's.

"I assume we're ready?" The man asked taking a seat across from Meredith, Bradley sitting next to him, watching Meredith.

"We are." Meredith's lawyer, Betsey, smiled. "My client too would like the process to be quick and painless."

"Then we agree." Roger nodded.

"I'll um...I'll be outside waiting." Christina nodded, before leaving the conference room.

"I....okay." Meredith's eyes widened as Christina left. She wasn't aware she'd be doing this alone.

"We have papers here...but I believe we should divide up their large value assets." Betsey replied, sliding a paper forward. "I understand you have a list as well Mr. Lockwood."

"Yes. There are only a few specific things my client wants."

"Alright, what specifics?" The red head pulled a pen from her purse.

"A bar set that they received for their wedding. The flat screen television that is in the basement. And the chest of drawers in their bedroom that was also a wedding gift."

"Dr. Grey, how does sit with you?" Betsey turned to her client and Meredith didn't feel like they were talking over her anymore.

"That's fine." Meredith avoided eye contact with Bradley.

"She can have anything else she wants." Bradley breathed.

"My client has asked to keep her car, split the profit fo their two story home..."

"We can work that out." Bradley's lawyer nodded, making a note on his notepad

"Now I understand there was discussion of a settlement, Mr. Warren. Are you still advocating for that?" Her lawyer asked as Meredith looked up.
