It was amazing. Absolutely amazing. It had been a little over a week since Meredith had decided that she was going to divorce Bradley and she had come back to live with Derek until everything was sorted out. She was completely different and more like the old Meredith every day. She was smiling, and giggling. She just looked happier and was getting better all the time.

Derek loved having her here. At home. And he couldn't imagine what it would be like when the divorce was final and she decided it was time for her to get her own place.

"Are you sure you want to watch this movie?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her as they lay on the couch in his living room, covered by her favorite blanket.

"Yeah." It was his maroon throw she loved so much over her body. "It's funny."

"I guess I'll just have to trust you on that." He laughed, tossing the DVD case onto the coffee table.

"Guess so."

"If it sucks...I'm changing it."

"No you're not." She frowned, tilting her head up.

"Yes I will." He smiled, kissing her forehead and then her lips.

'No..." She pouted.

"Fine...but tomorrow...I get to choose."

"It's not tomorrow is it?"

"Sadly...no." He laughed.

"Are you going to be mean about my movie the whole time?" She frowned, kissing him lightly. They kissed, it was their thing or whatever and sometimes she felt like it was wrong but he made things better so she...she just had to kiss him.

"I'll try not to." He whispered against her lips.

"If you're mean then I won't do the thing I did this morning."

"That's not fair."

"I think it is."

"Fine...No complaining." Derek laughed, hugging her tightly.

"I need my popcorn."

"Of course..." He smiled, kissing her before getting up and going into the kitchen.

"And M&M's...and bottled water!" Meredith called, as she leaned over to turn off a side lamp.

"Got it!" Derek called back, grabbing all of the snacks before coming into the living room with his hands full.

"You grabbed the peanut ones too, right?"

"What else would I get?"

"There are two bags in there. I want both."

"Be right back." He laughed, putting the stuff down and kissing her before disappearing into the kitchen again

"And to think I was going to show you boob."

"There better be some boob!" He called from the kitchen.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No..." She reached for the popcorn.

"Yes..." Derek repeated, coming back into the living room again with the second back of candy.

"Fine..." She groaned, sitting the popcorn in her lap.

"I win." He grinned, getting back on the couch.

"You're such a jerk." She laughed, her hand over the top of her tank top as she placed a piece of popcorn into her mouth.

"That was mean." He frowned, trying not to laugh.
