"So obviously you don't want to get a lawyer in the same practice..." Cristina said to Meredith as she walked down the hall. "I can help you find one."

"What....wait?" Meredith walked slowly, her hair was a mess as they passed through the halls of the Seattle hospital. It had been two nights since she had left Bradley at home. "Why would I need that?"

"He's not going to get away with this."

"We don't need a lawyer."

"You're going to represent yourself? That's tough, Mer. Especially against him."

"I am not getting a divorce, Christina!"

"You're what?"

"He promised the affair was over...she is out of his life." Meredith whispered, almost as if she was convincing herself. She was trying.

"Oh he said that?" Cristina rolled her eyes.

"Yeah...he wants to get back to trying for a baby."

"You're going back to him?"

"He's my husband...and unfortunately people have affairs but he's done with that."

"Seriously?"

"Both of my parents...they had affairs."

"And look what happened to them!"

"Brad isn't like that..."

"What's the difference? He slept with another woman...and lied to you about it."

"He ended it."

"You actually believe him?" Cristina asked.

"Christina he loves me and he made a mistake. I think after everything happened...I was neglectful....he was hurting."

"You were neglectful?" Cristina scoffed.

"I had just gone through a lot and I wasn't considering..."

"Don't make excuses for him."

"I'm not." Meredith blushed as they walked off of the elevator.

"Leave him."

"What?" Meredith gasped. "No...never."

"You can stay with me until you find a place."

"Christina...no....we....I can't."

"You can't just give in to him, Mer."

"I didn't have to...he ended the affair."

"That's what everyone who has an affair says."

"He doesn't love her and the lingerie was for me."

"He's so full of shit." Cristina groaned, shaking her head.

"You don't know that." Meredith groaned, as they walked into the resident locker room.

"I know he's a jackass."

"Then maybe someone should have pointed that out over three years ago when I married him."

"If I had known he was going to cheat on you, I would have."

"Rough patch."

"Cheating patch."

"It's over."

"If you really think that..."

"When I found out...he promised me it was over."
