Author's POV:
The trial day came and it was Yana's turn to lead it.Bruno drove her to the court and was allowed to be in the public too.

Yana was sorting her papers on the table while going through the plan in her head she and Elijah made.

Miriam and Mr.Dallas arrived too and sat down on the right side in the front row.Yana looked over at Miriam who gave her a sharp look.

Suddenly Yana's phone chimed,she took a glance.It was Elijah who text her"You can do it,love you!"

She softly smiled and the judge came in and the trial started.

Through the trial,Yana followed every single step that was planned and hoped for a positive verdict.

The trial lasted for two hours and the verdict was still guilty.

As Yana arrived home,Elijah was waiting for her.

"And?"Elijah wanted to know being curiously and waited for Yana with opened arms.She softly smiled and walked into his arms,wrapping each other arms around their backs.

"Guilty!"She said in low tone.

Elijah started rubbing her back,"It's alright,I still have another plan."Yana broke the hug,"What plan?And I still don't know why you didn't want to come today."She wanted to know.

Elijah sighed and suggested to sat down on the couch to discuss.

"I didn't want Miriam to see me at the trial,because it would be too obviously that I want something from her."Elijah explained,"What do you mean?"Yana wanted to more details.

"I was planning to see where Miriam's is going to do today and I'd follow her,then we'd meet and somehow I'd find a way to lead her on and get some information."He explained more detailed.

Silence stroke in the room and Elijah was waiting for Yana to say something.She sighed,but then Elijah added"I know,you don't like the idea of me being near her,but I think it's the only way to do."

Yana sighed again.

"It's alright,I trust you and so do you,but please don't let it go too far."Yana begged him taking his hands in hers.Elijah nodded and slowly approached Yana until their lips were only a few inches apart,"I promise!"He whispered and then gently kissed her.

As he slowly broke the kiss,he said"I love you!"In a low tone.

Elijah sent Pierre to spy on Miriam to see where she plans to go and after a few hours before the evening came,Elijah was informed about Miriam's plans.

As Elijah was getting himself ready in the mirror,he saw Yana in the reflection looking indecisive."You're afraid,right?"He wanted to know smiling softly,she just nodded not showing any emotions.

Elijah turned around and walked toward her and took Yana into his arms.

"I know it's hard,but I'll try my best to get out of there as soon as possible."He tried to promise.Yana closed her eyes and tried to believe him.

"Why don't you go out with Ian and have dinner?"He suggested as they broke the hug with a smile on his face."I'll call him after you leave."She responded smiling a bit.

Elijah left and Yana already started worrying.
