Author's POV: The next day,Elijah went with Yana at the law firm to talk with Mr.Martinez,trying to come to a compromise.
As they entered the law firm,everyone who worked there,aimed their sights at them.
Yana walking forward looking confidently and smiling while Elijah followed her with a proud smile on his face.
They arrived in front of Mr.Martinez's office and she took a deep breath watching Elijah.She knocked at the door and waited for her boss's permission.
As she heard it,they entered the office confidently and immediately spotted Miriam there too.

They greeted each other and Elijah introduced himself confidently.
Mr.Martinez asked curiously"What brings you two here?"Yana friendly replied"We wanted to have a talk with you two since Ms.Klein is also here."
Dallas threw a look at Miriam who nodded and he suggested to sit down.
Yana and Elijah were sitting on the brown couch and in front of them were Mr.Martinez and Miriam sitting on chairs.
"We are listening."Mr.Martinez said wanting them to begin.Yana watched Elijah and then moved her head to her boss.
"We came here to try to come to a compromise."Yana announced them assuredly making Mr.Martinez nodding while Miriam frowned a bit.
"Elijah and I want to let us working on Zaire's case."She added,her boss scoffed and replied"I'm sorry,but I already made a decision."
Elijah moved his gaze from looking down to staring at Dallas uttering without any emotion"We know."Dallas and Miriam watched Elijah.
"But an attorney can't be replaced another one from his case,only the customer can."And added a smirk at the end.
"That's right,but this is a law firm and since Ms.Claude has been struggling with this case for over a year,I thought it'd be better to replace her with someone else,plus let's not forget that,if Mr.Bankole loves his freedom,he'd let Ms.Klein take better care."Mr.Martinez explained trying to sound professional.
"Well that's why he wanted Ms.Claude to be his attorney in first place."Elijah commented attacking Yana's boss and Miriam with one arrow.
Miriam and Dallas looked at each other and Dallas wanted to know staring at Elijah and Yana"What do you propose?"
Elijah crossed his arms gasping a bit for air before laying back on the couch"We just want you to let us take care of the case."
Mr.Martinez shook his head sorrily biting his bottom lip.
"Then you don't give us another option which will be fighting against each other in the case."Yana mentioned being annoyed and serious at the same time.
"Do you think this is a game?You're putting someone's freedom in a game just so you can win!"Miriam exclaimed blowing up making Yana crazy.
"And?"Elijah said suddenly sitting their causally looking down.Their enemies moved their gaze to Elijah."Are you afraid to play?"He added moving his gaze up staring Miriam and Dallas in the eyes.
