Elijah's POV:
I got in the car and Bruno drove me to the headquarter.He handed me a file before he started driving and I started reading it.It was hard for me to focus on the single details and information since I had Yana on my mind.I felt really bad leaving like that.

We arrived at the headquarter after forty-five minutes.We took the elevator until we arrived at the top floor where the conference room was.

As I entered the room,everyone stood up standing gracefully,I walked over to the chair at the top of the table and  right after I sat down,everyone sat down too and waited for me to talk.

We discussed important aspects and planned everything exactly so we'd know who's in what position.After planning everything,we started going on mission.

We drove with three cars and we were totally twelve men,I was sitting alone with Bruno in the car.

After the thirty minutes drive,we finally arrived at the old abandoned bridge,we drove until we reached the middle of it,because at the end of the bridge where three cars parked.

We got out of the cars and everyone gather around."Examine the area,please."I demanded politely,everyone nodded and they all split up to examine it.

While I was walking along the bridge,I heard the sound of a boat.I looked at my right and saw a small white boat coming toward the bridge.

"It's them."I announced Bruno,he nodded and ran to the others announcing them that is time to attack.

They all sneaked at the corners of the bridge while I stood in the middle of it with my hands behind my back and looked down seeing the boat arriving at the shore.

I smiled and in that moment my men started shooting.

It was a complete mess,because my people started invading the boat from both sides.

As my eyes were concentrated on the attack,my left eye corner spotted one of the enemy escaping and walking up to the bridge.

I then took my gun out and started pointing toward the enemy who was running along the road.

I shot,but missed him.He stopped because of fear and looked back seeing my smirking behind my gun.

He then continued running while I ran after him.

Yana's POV:
My worry started to grow even more after Elijah left and I just hoped he'll come back soon.

I know what his job demands,but it just came so suddenly

I cleaned up the table and did the dishes.I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV while my mind was filled with worries.

I switched the channel and the CNN news caught my attention.

A bloody mess finds place in the west at the abandoned bridge.

A police helicopter is flying above the bloody scene and tries to find a way to intervene,but it's hard since they can't land anywhere.

I turned the TV off and stood up with my phone in my hand all shocked,I dialed a number.

"Yana?"A male answered."Ian,I need your help urgently."I required seriously.

After twenty minutes...

"Do you know where he is?"Ian asked when we were in the car."Yeah,in the west at the abandoned bridge."I informed him putting on my seatbelt.

On the way to the bridge,my entire body was nervous.I dialed Elijah's number thousand of times while tears started streaming down on my face and biting my thumb.
