Escapades

Yana's POV:
Bruno and I were on our way to get to the car.We had to stroll through all the way to the back so none of the guests would remark.

"We're almost there,Mrs.Creed."Bruno informed walking a bit in front of me with a gun.

My heart was racing because of the concern I had in me.I couldn't imagine my life without Elijah or Victoria living without her father.

We took the right corner when suddenly two individuals stunned us right at the end of the hallway.

They were dressed in a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie and holding a gun toward us.

Bruno stopped and put his right arm in front of me so I shouldn't make any other steps while his other hand holding the gun which was pointing toward them.

Elijah's POV:
Jacques and I hurried to get to Alexander's study where other of my men were when suddenly Jacques stopped us and informed me"Pierre and Calvin found Ezekiel,but something intervened."

I demanded to bring me to him and so our destination changed.

We strolled to the other part of the house and Jaques led me toward the basement.The walls were bulletproof so the guests weren't to be heared anymore as we neared ourselves.

My first thought was Yana.I only imagined Ezekiel capturing her somehow,but he got caught and now I had to face it.

But I was wrong.

Yana's POV:
My blood froze in my veins when I saw them standing in front of us.

There was no escape!

If Bruno would have shot one,the other one would shoot Bruno in a second and so I would stand there helpless.

They slowly started walking toward us while Bruno made a few step back holding his right hand in front of me while I stepped back.

Unexpectedly a sound of gun rang through the entire hallway startling me.

And within a second Bruno fell down in front of me.Blood was running like river from his left shoulder.He grunted while covering the wound with his hand.

There was no escape for me!

Out of nowhere another gun sound flooded through the hallway and Akio Akabane made his appearance by walking past me and Bruno.

He then shot the other one,standing in front of us.

Akio turned around and helped Bruno getting up."Are you alright?"He asked him first who nodded and thanked."Are you alright too,Mrs.Creed?"Akio asked me worriedly,I nodded with a smile and thanked for his help.

"Where is Mr.Creed?"He asked curiously,but at the same time calm."He's after Ezekiel."I replied honestly.

Akio nodded as if he understood what I exactly meant.

"What do you have to do?"Akio asked Bruno casually."I have to escort Mrs.Creed out and bring her to a car which will drive her home."He explained breathing heavily.

Akio nodded again and offered to bring us to the car in case there are going to be others standing in our way.

Elijah's POV:
"Ezekiel,please stop!"Miriam begged him calmly even though there was a bit of desperation in her voice."You have no escape now,Ezekiel!"I mentioned clearly making him look over Miriam right shoulder.

She was holding onto his right shoulder while he pointed a gun on her stomach and her other hand was on the weapon.

Behind him were Pierre and Calvin and then in front of him were Jaques and I.

"Miriam,you don't understand,he has made me suffer!"He claimed strongly."Ezekiel,I beg you,please calm yourself down."Miriam tried to calm him,but it didn't work,he became even more aggressive and threatened her"If you don't move in the next three seconds,I'm going to shoot you!"

My heart started racing,I can't put Miriam on risk!

If my men would approach Ezekiel,he'll shoot her.If Miriam won't move,she'll get shot.

"One!"He started counting loud and clearly,Miriam didn't move."Two!"Ezekiel continued,no movement from Miriam.

"Now!"I shouted making my men approach him quickly."Three!"Ezekiel shouted and the sound of the gun appeared stopping my men.

Blood was running down from Miriam's body on the floor causing a massive pond while Ezekiel slowly moved back and was about to ran away.

"Miriam!"I uttered approaching her quickly and catching her limping body while Ezekiel fought with Pierre,Jaques and Calvin,but he eventually escaped and they ran after him.

"It's alright,it's alright now.I'm here.Stay with me,please."I assured her trying to contain myself,because her face expression changed completely,she looked like a ghost.

She was trying to say something,but it was unhearable.I picked her up on my arms and tried to get her out of the mansion without anyone notice anything.

I met some of my men on the way and demanded to bring her to the hospital as quickly as possible.

"You are going to be alright,ok?They'll bring you to the hospital while I deal with Ezekiel."I tried to explain quickly,she just nodded all exhausted.

"Aller!"I said to my men before I got back to find Ezekiel.

Yana's POV:
We finally reached the car which brought us here and one of Elijah's men was to be seen.He opened the door for me,but before I got in,I said"Thank you for you help,Mr.Akabane."

He bowed and replied friendly"No worries,you are Mr.Creed's wife,he would to the same for Narua."I nodded confirming it.

I got in the car and the door closed.The chauffeur went in his sit and started the engine driving away.
