Yana's POV:
We waited a few more seconds to see,if someone comes out and then we approached the conference room.

The door was large open and I saw Elijah at the other end of the table organizing some papers while standing up.Bruno politely knocked at the door trying to catch his attention and as Elijah raised his head and saw me,his face turned into a smile,I smiled back and we entered the room.

"Did you wait for me?"Elijah asked when I arrived in front him and then he softly kissed me on the lips."A bit."I said smiling,"Bruno showed me around and then we came here."I explained happily while Elijah moved his gaze to Bruno and nodded smiling appreciating the gesture.

"You look beautiful!"Elijah complimented her look making Yana blush.

"Let me just bring these papers to Mr.Lee and then we can get going."He said."It's alright,I can bring them to him,you should get going,sir."Bruno offered his help stretching his right hand out,Elijah smiled and handed him the papers,"Thank you!"He uttered.

Elijah gently grabbed after my hand and we left the conference room.

We arrived in parking lot which was underground the headquarter and it was large and filled too.

"Geez,here is cold."I remarked while walking,Elijah immediately stopped walking and so did I.

"Here."He said letting go of my hand and took his blazer off."It's alright,you don't need to."I said,but it was too late and he wrapped it around me."There's still a bit until we get to the car."He informed me smiling.

We kept walking until we finally reached the car.He opened the door for me and I got in and we drove to the restaurant.

We arrived at Cathédrale Restaurant after a thirty minutes car ride and a valet opened the car door for me and helped me getting out of the car with a smile on his face.

He got in the car while Elijah came next to me,he grabbed after my hand gently and we walked in the restaurant while I still had his blazer around me and my purse on my shoulder before I handed them to the feamle coat checker.

We were led to our reserved table in the back and as we walked through the restaurant I remarked that it was filled with people.

We arrived at our table and the waiter pulled the chair for me."I'm going to bring you the menus."He informed us with a smile.

I placed my hands on the table and took a look around admiring everything around me,I felt how Elijah gently placed his cold hands on my warm ones.

I smiled at him and said"It's really beautiful."

He smiled back said"Just like you!"

I blushed a little.

The waiter came back with two menus and we started looking through it.When we were done deciding,he returned and took our orders which were red wine for both of us and some sea food for me and a steak for Elijah.

As the waiter left,Elijah started to roll up his sleeves showing his veiny arms which I love,I smirked and watched him doing that.

We then held hands and he tilted his head to the right smiling,I frowned a bit and said"What?"Elijah smiled brightly and said"Just admiring the view!"I tilted my head too while smiling.

The wine was served which interrupted us,but then we got in the same position after the waiter left.

"You know,I thought,if we wouldn't win the case,then we just let it go."I claimed,"I mean,it won't affect me anymore,because now I'm happier than before."I added happily and Elijah giggled softly.

"Since my birthday is coming up,I thought we could celebrate it with friends and family."Elijah suggested,my eyes widened and I exclaimed"Really?When?"He answered casually"On the 4th of July,in five days."I nodded.

"We could invite your parents,Bruno,Sasha and Ariyon."He added to his suggestion."Yeah,sure!"I replied not minding it at all."I'll call my parents tomorrow and ask,if they can come."I informed him,Elijah nodded.

Our food arrived and we started eating."Want to try?"Elijah asked before he started eating pointing his fork on his steak,I nodded with a smile and he started cutting a little piece of steak and and fed me with it.

I started chewing and and the steak satisfied my taste buds,I smiled liking it and Elijah did too.I asked the same question like he,but he politely refused.

We finished eating and we kept discussing different things.

"Remember when you asked me the favor to go with you to that event?"I said,he nodded,"And there was that couple Marcel and Cristina."I added trying to remind him of them.

"Well,when you introduced yourself,you used your second name Sinclair,but why?"I wanted to know frowning and then Elijah explained"I didn't want to reveal my real name,so I just used my second one which all mafia members do,if they don't have a second name,then they just get one."I nodded interested.

A few more minutes passed and Elijah asked,if I want to go for a walk and I happily accepted.

He paid and we left the restaurant.

We walked slowly on the beautiful night streets of New York admiring the view and the night sky while holding hands.

We passed by a flower shop where some pink roses caught my attention.We stopped in front of the window and I took a look at them.

"Do you want them?"Elijah asked staring at me,I stared back and nodded with a happy,but a guilty smile too.

We entered the shop which was still open and Elijah bought me all pink roses which matched my dress.

We left the shop and I had the bouquet in hands staring at it with admiring eyes.

"Do you like it?"Elijah asked looking at me smiling,I nodded happy and approached my lips to his and we kissed passionately.

We continued walking along the street,I with the bouquet in the hands and Elijah with his right arm wrapped around me.

We arrived home around 12:00 am and we just went to sleep,but before that I thanked Elijah for the beautiful evening.
