Elijah's POV:
On the same day,I requested to Bruno to gathered all the capos in the mafia for an important conference and so he did.

At 12:00 pm all capos were standing up waiting for me to get to my seat which was at the end of the table.

They bowed when I arrived at the top of the table and I took a seat and so they did after me.

I spoke loud and clearly"As you know the MG found place yesterday night and with it another important event."

I was trying to see,if they know what I'm talking about,but none of them had any idea.They started looking at each other not knowing it at all.

"An event that will change our mafia."I maintained strongly catching their attention back.

I smirked before I announced proudly"Ezekiel's death!"

The capos were watching me not believing what I just said.

"From now on,I'll be the new mafia leader and the consigliere position will belong to Bruno!"I stated confidently making myself clear.

"I'm looking forward to receive from all of you the analyses of the equipments,trainings,liquors and missions by the end of this month,so I can see where we should improve."I requested politely while they nodded in confirmation.

"I'll pass by at 05:00 to see how is everything going."I added so they can have time to prepare.

I was driven back home where I found Yana in bedroom watching a K-Drama and Victoria sleeping next to her since it was her nap time.

"What are you watching?"I asked whispering with a smile standing in front of her.

Nonchalantly she looked up at me and responded back with a question"Didn't you forget something?"I frowned with smirk and immediately remembered that I didn't kiss her.

I leaned on giving her the kiss she wanted.

"Thank you!"Yana said as if it finally happened.I giggled and asked again what she was watching,"The Penthouse:War In Life."She answered casually staring at the screen and silence stroke for a few seconds.

"Didn't you say you were going to be at the headquarter the entire day?"Yana asked curiously looking at me.

"I have decided to give the capos a few hours to prepare before I do a whole checkup."I informed her and then added"That's why I came home to ask you,if you want to have dinner tonight after you and I go through all checkups?"

Yana gave me a thoughtful look and asked"Sure,but what about V?"Her question made me think for a few seconds.

"I can ask Sasha,if she can look after her and when we are done with the checkups,we'll pick up V from Sasha's office and we'll go to the restaurant."I explained positively.

Yana nodded with a smile agreeing with my idea.

Yana's POV:
I got myself ready before Victoria woke up and when she did,I dressed her up too.

We left and arrived in front of the headquarter twenty minutes before the time hit 05:00 pm.

Bruno and Jaques who were waiting in front of the entrance approached us while Elijah opened the car door for me and helped me unbuckle V's belt.

Jacques took the car and drove away while Elijah,Bruno and I confidently walked in.

We took the elevator to the 9th floor where Sasha's office was.

She warmly welcomed us and told us that it was her pleasure to look after V.

We left her office and Bruno informed us that the checkup starts from the basement.

After some time...
Eventually we reached the 8th floor and from there on,I didn't remember much.

I slowly opened my eyes and remarked that I was completely somewhere else than before,I was laying on the couch in Elijah's office.

I was covered with his blazer and my shoes were in front of me on the floor while Elijah was sitting on a sofa chair next to my head with his head in his palms.

I groaned,because I was feeling dizzy and had a bit of the nausea feeling,Elijah immediately stood up.

He approached me and crouched down being on the same level as I was.

"How are you feeling,mon amour?"He asked worried having his right hand on my cheek."Dizzy and a bit nauseous."I replied with honesty.

I asked what happened and he explained that I fainted during the checkup at the pain simulation.

I rushed through my memories and remembered the eighteen year old girl entering the machine and seeing her suffering caused me the fainting.

Suddenly a few knocks were to be heard at the door.

Elijah allowed and just when door opened and Bruno entered in,Elijah directly demanded"Yana's awake,please bring doctor Gabrielle."

Bruno bowed and was about to turn around when I stopped him by saying"No,it's alright,I'm fine now."And tried to stand up,but Elijah immediately put me down and claimed"Yana please.You are feeling dizzy and nauseous,I want to take care of you!"

He moved his gaze to Bruno and gave him a nod and so did Bruno before he left.

The doctor who introduced herself,telling me her name was Gabrielle Durand,was an old lady,probably fifty who examined me before she gave me a painkiller and requested to rest for a few hours which I did after Elijah barely wanted to left so he can continue the checkup.

I was laying with closed eyes in his office with Jacques keeping an eye on me.

Elijah returned after a time with Gabrielle and Bruno and while I was examined by her again,Elijah asked how I was feeling.

"I'm better now."I replied with a smile."Guess we're canceling tonight's dinner."Elijah asserted looking a bit down,but I assured that I'm better and we can totally go.

"I'm apologizing for intervening in your life affair,sir, but I can assure you that Mrs.Creed is feeling better now and it'd be great,if she would eat something."Gabrielle mentioned with a positive smile catching Elijah's attention who then looked back at me and I nodded confidently.

He took a deep breath before he mumbled"Alright!"

So we picked up V from Sasha's office and drove to an Italian restaurant where we still had a beautiful dinner.

We arrived home around 10:20.

Elijah was putting Victoria in her crib since she fell asleep in the car while I was getting ready for the night.

We met in bed at 10:45.

"I hope,you liked today's dinner."Elijah stated showing hope,I nodded with a smile laying in his arms.

"I'm grateful for having such a caring husband."I mentioned happily."You and Victoria are my priority!"Elijah replied fondly before leaving a kiss on my lips.
