Yana's POV: I didn't sleep well at all.Even though I knew Elijah was awake,I couldn't feel safe.
I woke up early on a rainy cold day in the morning and walked downstairs where I found Bruno in the living room.
"Good morning,Mrs.Creed!"He wished me with a smile and a bow,I wished him the same and asked where Elijah is."Mr.Creed left thirty minutes ago."I nodded and mumbled"I suppose he'll be at the headquarter the entire day."
I got dressed after a quick breakfast where Bruno also was invited to join,but he politely refused.

As I was about to leave,Bruno stopped me"Mr.Creed ordered to stay here and watch after you."
But I tried to explain"I have to pick up Victoria from my parents."He responded back sorrily"I have to follow the orders."
I sighed,because I knew Elijah is very strict when it comes to commands and he hates when they are not respected.Plus I didn't want to cause Bruno any trouble,so I decided to call him myself and ask for "Permission".
"Yeah,mon amour?"Elijah responded seeming to be busy.I bit my bottom lip before I said"Morning,I hope I don't bother you."Elijah answered calmly"It's alright,you never bother me."
I smiled and asked confidently"Can Bruno drive me to my mom's house,so I can pick up V?"
A few moments of silence passed,he sighed and sounded like he was exhausted before he said"Yeah,of course.But please be home quickly."
A smile crossed my face and I answered"I will,love you!"And Before I could hang up,I heard him saying"Love you too!"
I gave Bruno a nod with a smile assuring him that he can drive us to my mom's house.
After forty-five minutes... My mother handed me Victoria right after she opened the door and she was all happy being back into my arms.
She greeted Bruno who was standing behind and I curiously asked Victoria"Did you have fun with Gram and Pa?"
"I bet,she had.She started crying after five minutes after you left,but I managed to calm her down.I gave her a bath,she played with your father when he arrived home from work and I fed her one of the bottles you gave me,she still has a portion."My mom explained with a smile and crossed arms.
"What about the night?Was she calm?"I asked my mom.She nodded with a smirk and stated"She slept through the night until 07:45."And then my mother added"She really reminds me of you.She's a mini Yana."
I giggled and kissed Victoria's cheek and then she suggested"But why don't you come in and have some coffee or tea?"
"I would,but I promised to Elijah that I'll be home soon since..."She tilted her head to the right as she remarked that I didn't end my sentence.
I sighed before I tried to explain,but at the same time lie about the cold incident"Some people have broken into our apartment last night and Bruno is watching after me while Elijah is now at the police station."
