Yana's POV:
I was laying in Elijah's arms as he told everything about the interrogation,file and event.

"Are you sure about the Mafia Gathering?"I asked a bit doubtfully."Yeah,it takes place once a year,but I was so caught up with capturing Ezekiel that I totally forgot about it until Miriam mentioned it."He explained being sure of himself.

I then asked him,if it would be possible for me to attend,but Elijah was very skeptical at first and explained that he doesn't want me to get involved at any cost.

But I tried to change his mind,because no matter what happened,I wanted to be by his side as much as he wants to protect me.

Elijah finally nodded after a few minutes of thinking and replied"Bruno will be your bodyguard."I nodded happily and then he claimed with hatred in his voice which I immediately recognized it"If the plan goes just the way it supposed to,he'll be dead by midnight."

And he added"I'll ask Bruno to prepare the paperwork for the inheritance of the mafia."I frowned and questioned"Why?You're going to be the leader anyway."

Elijah chuckled and informed me"I know,but a consigliere always does the inheritance papers for the actual leader in case he dies and there has to be a new one already chosen."

But then he added something which made my eyes widened"And since I'll be the new leader and I'll make Bruno the consigliere,I need to register the next leader after me...and that will be you!"

"Me?"I said confused looking up at him,Elijah nodded maintained staring back at me"You're my wife and what's mine,is yours too."He raised his head and lean in for kissing me passionately on the lips.

Suddenly his phone vibrated which made us both stop.Elijah tried to grab after it and as he opened it a notification with a message from Miriam was to be seen.

Miriam: Ezekiel just arrived.

Elijah replied back.

Elijah: Alright,just act normal.

He put the phone away and we got in the same position before kissing.

"The event will be in two days,Bruno will drive you tomorrow so you can buy yourself something to wear."He said and I nodded with a smile.

The following day...
Victoria and I got picked up by Bruno.

"Where would you like to go,Mrs.Creed?"He asked staring in the rear-view mirror.I sighed and replied"I don't know,I haven't even thought about it,Elijah just decided to take me at the event yesterday night."Bruno replied"Well,Mr.Creed recommended to bring you to Chanel."

I was surprised by Elijah's recommendation since I could wear the dress Elijah bought for me as a present when I accompanied him at that event.

"Alright!"I uttered with a smile and Bruno started the engine.

We arrived at the store and I was asked what I was looking for."A dress for an event,please."I replied friendly.

The lady named Evelyn showed me a few dresses which I tried on while Bruno was holding Victoria.

I finally found one after trying three others and we arrived home before 02:00 pm.

Elijah's POV:
I was working in my office at the headquarter when I heard a few knocks at the door."You may!"I responded yelling a bit and staring at the door which opened and Bruno entered in.

He bowed when he arrived in front of my desk and informed"Mrs.Creed found a dress for the event and she's home now with the baby."I smiled and nodded while Bruno handed me a black file and added"And here is the paperwork for the inheritance of the mafia which need to be signed by you sir and Mrs.Creed."

I opened the file and there were only five pages.I grabbed after a pen with black ink,took its lid off and signed all five pages confidently.

"I'll bring it to Yana to sign it."I informed Bruno while closing the file and putting it aside.

"I also want to thank you for choosing me for the consigliere position."Bruno maintained with a smile that showed gratefulness.I nodded and replied"You've worked for me for the past eight years and I fully trust you with it."

He then asked,if there's anything else I need and before I could answer,my phone suddenly rang,Miriam was calling me.

"Hello."I uttered normally."Hi,I found something in Ezekiel's home office that might help you out."Miriam told me over the phone,I didn't say anything at first,but then I asked what it is.

"I think,it is the list with the guests and
some notes."She tried to explain."Alright,do you have time now?"I asked curiously."Yeah,I'll see you at Gregorys Coffee in an hour."Miriam replied.

We hung up and I stood up informing Bruno"I'm going to meet Miriam now,please check on how the operation is going."He bowed saying"Of course,sir!"

An hour later...
I entered the café and immediately spotted Miriam sitting alone at a table away from others.I walked over and greeted her politely before I sat down.

"Is everything set for tomorrow?"She asked showing interest,I nodded and mentioned"Yana will be there too,so try to be near us in case Ezekiel tries something.Bruno will keep you safe."

Miriam then reminded me why she actually called"That's why I wanted to meet you."And she started taking a few note papers out of her purse.

"I found these in his study and thought it might help you."She mentioned while I started reading the guest list and it looked like all the allies were invited.

Finally,I reached his diabolical plan.

Ezekiel was planning a terror attempt on me.

"But how does he know that I'll be there?"I mumbled still reading the notes,but then Miriam claimed"I think,he waited for a better opportunity to revenge and took the event as one."

I took a deep breath and laid back in my chair leaving the sheets of paper on the table which Miriam immediately packed them in her bag.

Silence stroke at our table for a few moments,only the chattering from the tables were to be heard.

"I have to find a way to stop him."I mumbled annoyed since I have to plan everything from new."Maybe I can try to stand by him the entire time."Miriam suggested showing hope.

I thought for a few seconds and it was a great idea.

"I know what to do."I said with a smirk.
