Author's POV: Weeks passed and Yana and Elijah continued their lives.
For Yana was hard to clear her mind completely and the thought that she lost the case made her frustrated,even though she is competitive and cutthroat about her cases,she'd go so far as to sell her soul if it meant winning a case.
But somehow,in a way,in another,she got over and continued working on other cases that she won and everytime she won one,she felt more and more happy.
For Elijah wasn't really hard since he apologized and recognized his mistake,but a bit of guilt still hit him,mostly in the sleepless nights.He completed more unfinished mission since his adoptive brother didn't even bother to send someone to do it.
But somehow Elijah and Yana met again and the entire situation changed completely.
3rd of May It was a normal Friday for Yana,she was at the office,working on a few papers and in the evening Ian came in to pick her up to get dinner.
They sat down at a table and ordered their dishes,the whole restaurant was filled with people since it was Friday evening.

While waiting for the food,Ian announced Yana that he was going to the restroom,she nodded while scrolling through her phone.
A few seconds passed since Ian left the table when suddenly someone approached Yana.
"Good evening!"A male voice said,Yana moved her gaze to the man and froze when she made eye contact with him.
It was Ezekiel.
She still remembered him from the photo.
"Hello!"Yana greeted back trying to show no fear.Ezekiel smiled and asked curiously"Am I talking to Yana Claude?"Yana frowned a little and wanted to know"Who's asking?"Ezekiel kept smiling and answered"Isaac Leonte,son of Alexander Leonte."
Yana was silence.
"I need your help."Ezekiel uttered seriously while Yana frowned a bit."I need you to give me all the information about Zaire Bankole."He added while Yana just watched him until she explained with a friendly voice"I'm sorry,but I can't.First of all I don't work on that case anymore and second I can't give you his personal information,it's part of my job to keep everything private."
Ezekiel wasn't happy with her answer and offered her ten thousand dollars,but Yana shook her head gracefully and said"I can't,I'm sorry."
Ezekiel slowly lost his temper and claimed strongly"I need those information and I've been looking for you for months!"
Yana was calm and tried not to get intimidated by Ezekiel's anger.
Suddenly someone called out loud"Mon amour!"Yana and Ezekiel turned their face in the direction where the voice came.
Yana's eyes widened,Ezekiel's eyes widened even more when they saw him.
It was Elijah!
"Are you ready to go?"Elijah asked when he was standing in front of them gracefully.Yana looked at Elijah then at Ezekiel who was staring at his brother.
"Yeah,I am."Yana said with a forced smile taking her purse and blazer."Hi Ezekiel,how have you been?"Elijah asked ironically while Yana put on her blazer and the purse on her left shoulder.
"I'm fine."Ezekiel answered trying not to show his fury while Yana moved next to Elijah who immediately wrapped his left arm around her waist.
"I think,I forgot to introduce you to my girlfriend Yana,Yana this is Ezekiel my adoptive brother.Ezekiel,my girlfriend Yana."Elijah introduced them to each other while both of them faked a smile.
A quick awkward silence stroke between them,but Ezekiel interrupted it by asking curiously"When did you guys meet?"
Yana and Elijah looked at each other when Elijah suddenly replied"A few months ago,at motor crossing."And moved his gaze to Ezekiel while answering.
Ezekiel sighed shaking head and crossing his arms saying"Look at you,you finally found someone since you are so hard be loved."And put a smirk at the end."Really?"Yana asked suddenly making Ezekiel's smirk disappear.
"He doesn't really like all these romantic stuff,like kissing for example."Ezekiel tried to criticize Elijah in front of Yana,but she commented back"Well,we kiss a lot and he's a great kisser."And added a smirk at the end.
"Really?"Ezekiel uttered and moistened his lips,"Then kiss!"He demanded smirking.
"Alright,I think this is enough."Elijah tried to get out of the uncomfortable moment and removed his arm from Yana's waist.
"You can't-"Elijah wanted to say,but he got interrupted and grabbed by his left blazer's lapel and pulled into Yana's kiss.
She held him tight by the blazer's lapel and placed her right hand on his neck while her eyes were closed and his were wide open.
Slowly she moved her other hand up to his neck too and titled her head to the right.
Elijah finally blinked and closed his eyes,putting both of his hands gently on her soft cheeks.
Ian was on his way back from the restroom when he suddenly stopped in the middle of the way and was shock by seeing Yana and Elijah kissing.
For a moment the whole world stopped for Elijah and Yana.
They just kept kissing no matter happened around them.
A few more seconds passed and the both of them slowly broke the kiss and watched each other in the eyes.
Ezekiel watched them impressed and just said"Wow!"And scoffed a little.
"Well what can I say?I wish you two the best and hope we see us soon."Ezekiel said with a smirk and as he walked past Elijah he tapped him on the left shoulder two times.
Yana and Elijah just stood there for a few more seconds not believing themselves what just happened.
"I-I-I'm sorry!"Elijah tried to apologize breaking the tension between them."It's alright!"Yana tried to assure him."It's just...he's dangerous,very dangerous."Elijah tried to explain,"That's why I tried to keep him away from you."He added.
"It's fine,thank you very much!"Yana tried to show her gratefulness."I think,I should be the one who should be sorry for kissing you suddenly."Yana tried to take the blame and blushed a little,but Elijah tried to assure her that is alright.
Ian came back and greeted Elijah before he told his made up excuse"Sorry,but I just got a phone call from my mom and she's feeling sick so I'm going to buy her some medicine from a pharmacy."
Yana and Elijah looked wondered and wished Ian a speedy recovery for his mom.
Ian left Yana the money for his food before he exited the restaurant and she said to Elijah"I should get going too."
Elijah offered to bring her home,but she explained that her car was still in the parking lot."Then let me just accompany you."He suggested friendly smiling at the end.
Yana gave him a quick unsure look,but then accepted it.
"Just let me pay for the food."She said trying to take out her wallet from her purse when suddenly Elijah said smiling"Don't worry!"And held fifty dollars between the index and middle finger.
