As your slowly drifting in and out of consciousness all you can hear is a faint beeping after about 20 minutes you regain consciousness you shoot up from your bed

Y/n: mom dad

You look around the room and realise that your still alive and in the hospital you brake down in tears hugging your knees
You feel a pare of arms wrapped around you you start crying even more realising its vinnie

Vinnie: shhhh baby its okay.... it's going to be okay

You just keep crying as vinnie holds you close to him after about 30 minutes you stop crying and vinnie lets you go you lay back down on your bed  and start playing with your fingers as silence falls through the room after a while vinnie brakes the silence

Vinnie: y/n why did you that I thought you was getting better
Y/n: there dead
You say as your voice brakes
Vinnie: who
You take a deep breath as tears start to roll down your face
Y/n: my mom and dad
You turn to look at him as he sits on the bed next you you and pulls you into his Arms as he hold you tight
Vinnie: oh my god y/n so sorry
Y/n: it should have been me not them its all my fault
Vinnie: shhhhh its not your fault baby
Y/n: yes it is vin they was coming to see me its my fault if I went home they wouldn't have been in that taxi on the way to  the airport
Vinnie pulls away from the hug he puts his thumb under your chin and slowly moves your head up do you are looking into his eyes
Vinnie: y/n don't blame your self none of this is your fault
Y/n: yes it was it was meant to be me vin I didn't want to be saved i don't want to be here anymore it was my time to go vin why did you save me
You say through your tears
Vinnie: y/n please don't say that
Y/n: vinnie but its true why did you save me
Vinnie: because y/n i love you and I won't know what to do without you I know you asked me not to save you but your the best thing that ever happened to me

At that point your both crying in each other's arms
You stay like that for a while you both lose track until the doctor walks into the room you both ket go of each other vinnie sits back down in chair and you move back to the top of the bed

Doctor: y/n your awake
You nod your head
Doctor: its really lucky that vinnie found you when he did otherwise you probably wouldn't be here right now
You put your head down ashamed of what you did
Y/n: i know
Doctor: did vinnie tell you what happened
Y/n: no
He explains what he said to vinnie
Y/n: thank you for what you did
Doctor: no need to thank me how are you feeling
Y/n: im okay just a little sore
Doctor: thats good and the soreness should go within the next 24 hours
Y/n:  okay when will i be able to go home
He looks at his clipboard
Doctor: on Friday so in 2 days we need to keep a eye on you because of how bad your injuries were
Y/n: Okay thank you doctor

You spend the rest of the day talking but you can't help but feel like vinnie is treating you different since you told him abt your parents passing away.

                                         2 days later

As you are walking out of the bathroom Vinnie walks through the door With Starbucks

Vinnie: good morning baby you ready to go home and i got you Starbucks
You smile
Y/n: aww thank you baby and yeah
Vinnie: okay lets go
You nod your head and get all of your stuff together then you both go to the front desk and get the discharge papers you sign them and head out the hospital to vinnies car once your both in the car you head back to your house the car ride was silent you can tell vinnie is trying nit to bring anything up that's happened over the past few day you dont like that he's treating you different but you font know how to tell him to stop
Once you get back to your house you both go inside

Vinnie: I cleaned everything up I didn't want you to come back to a messy house i also cleaned the ahhh ... blood
Y/n: thank you vin you really didn't have to
Vinnie: it okay baby I wanted to

You smile at him and you both go upstairs you put all of your things away as vinnie is sitting on your bed once you finish putting everything away you go and lay down next to vinnie he wraps his arms around you turn to look at him

Y/n: hey vin
Vinnie: yes baby
Y/n: im going to go home for a few weeks and clear out my parents house I need to say goodbye
Vinnie: okay do you want me to come with you
You sake your head
Y/n: no i need to do that his alone
Vinnie: are you sure
Y/n: yeah I booked the plane ticket last night
Vinnie: when do you leave
Y/n: tomorrow lunchtime
Vinnie: are you sure you don't want me to come with you
Y/n: no but i need to do it alone
Vinnie: okay i will take you to the airport tomorrow
Y/n: thank you vinn

You lean over and kiss him then you snuggle into his chest as you both watch tiktok on his phone after about a hour you start to yawn

Vinnie: are your tired baby
Y/n: yeah
You say in a tired voice
Vinnie: go to sleep baby

You snuggle into his chest a bit more until you fall asleep
