Airport

You hear a a sigh as Vinnie move some hair out of your face and tucks it behind your ear
Vinnie: we're going to get through this y/n, I love you never forget that
he says as he leans down and kisses you on your forehead he stands up and then you hear your bedroom door open and close you sigh as a tear rolls down your cheeks . You sit up and grab your phone you see that it's getting kinda late you you wipe your tears away and slowly walk downstairs and go into the kitchen where vinnie is

Y/n: hey
He turns around and looks at you and gives you slight smile
Vinnie: hi, how are you feeling
Y/n: I'm okay vin, but I actually wanted to talk to you
He frowns a little then he sits down in down in front of  you
Vinnie: oh okay, what's up
Y/n: I'm sorry vin
He goes to say something but you cut him off
Y/n: I'm sorry that I have put you through so much over the last year you don't deserve to have to go through all of that vin..... you didn't deserve that vin. And that's my I've got to do this
You and vinnie now has tears in your eyes as he slowly shakes his head
Vinnie: no y/n please don't do this
The tears fall from both of yours eyes
Y/n: I'm so sorry vin but I have to do this for both of us.
You put you hands on top of his as you look into his tearful eyes
Y/n: I love you vin I really really do and I always will but I've got to let you go you've got to let me go vin

You say as more tears start to drown down both of your faces he leans over and hugs you,
you stay in each others arms for a little while as you both cry until you pull away from the hug

Y/n: I'm going to go back to New York for  a little while just to get better and to get my head right vin and I promise you as soon and I get back we can talk vin I promise
He nods his head
Vinnie: okay, when are you leaving
You sigh
Y/n: tonight, I booked the ticket when I was at the beach
He sighs as he slowly nods his head
Vinnie: can I at least give you a ride there y/n
Y/n: yeah of course you can 
He nods his head
Y/n: I'm going to go and start packing
Vinnie: do you ahh need any help
Y/n: no...... actually yeah I'd like that

He gives you a small smile as he follows you back upstairs you both spend the next few hours packing you thought things would be awkward between you both but it wasn't you was just enjoying each other's company while it lasted
Y/n: vin, what time is it
He grabs his phone from his pocket and has a look
Vinnie: it's uhhh 5:15
Y/n:shit I've got to start getting ready my flights at 8:30
Vinnie nods his head my
Vinnie : go get ready I'll take all of your bags out to the car
Y/n: okay thank you vin

He smiles at you as he grabs all of your bags and takes them out to his car as you quickly change into some comfy clothes once you have done that you put your hair up and put on some perfume and deodorant once you have finished doing everything you need to do you grab your air pods and your bottle of water then you head down stairs and go into your kitchen and grab a bottle of water from out of the fridge for vinnie then you go out to vinnies car and get him you hand him the water and he thanks you then he starts the 45 minute to the airport
Vinnie: thank you y/n
Y/n: no problem
Vinnie: so uhh when do you think your gonna be back from New York
You take a second to think before you answer him
Y/n: ummm I don't know to be honest it could be a few weeks or a few months just until I'm better and I've got my head straight vin
You can tell that he is sad but he's trying to hide it as he nod his head
Vinnie: y/n... I know we're not together anymore but I still love you no matter what I'm always gonna be here if you need to talk or if you just need to rant please just ring me or if you need someone to take your mind off of things just ring me Or text me
Y/n: I will vin I promise and I will always love you too vin
He slightly smiles at you  you smile back at him and you soon fall back into a conversation for the rest of the ride there his smile starts to face as you pull into the airport you sigh as you both get out of his car and he grabs your bags for you
You sigh as you look at him
Y/n: I love you vin don't forget that
You look into his eyes as a tear rolls down his face you wipe his tear away as you pull him into a hug
Y/n: but vin promise me you won't wait for me vin if you find someone who make you happy go for it vinnie
He frowns and nods his head
Y/n: promise me
Vinnie: I promise
He says as more tears roll down his face
Y/n: thank you vin
You say as you pull him into a hug after a few seconds you have to let go of him you sigh as you give him a sad smile as you grab all of your bags
Y/n: good bye vin
Vinnie: good bye y/n
You give each other a slight smile as you walk away and head towards the entrance of the airport you want to stop and look back but you can't because you know you won't leave so you just keep on walking once you get into the airport you go through security then you go and wait in the waiting area for your plane  to be called you look at the time and see that it should be called in 10 minutes or so, so you decide to go on TikTok for a while after 15 minutes your plane gets called so you grab your carry on bag and bored the plane
