Car ride

You stop as you reach the garage and you turn and look at him as you put your hand on the door handle
Y/n: ready
Vinnie: yeah

You nod your head as you open the door and and switch the lights on you turn and look at him as his eyes light up as he looks around the room admiring all of the different cars, whoa he mutters under his breath as he follows closely behind you as you slowly walk through the garage one you get to the end you stop and look at him
Y/n: do you like it
Vinnie: y/n it's amazing
He says as he looks at the cars once more
Vinnie: where did you get all of them
Y/n: well half of them was my dads and when I moved to la I wanted to keep adding to them, he used to love cars
Vinnie smiles at you he keeps looking at this one car you smile as an idea pops into your head
Y/n: I'll be back in a second
Vinnie nods his head
Vinnie: okay

You turn around and leave the garage and go upstairs and go into your parents room you go to your dad's bedside table and grab the key for the car vinnie has had is eye on you smile once you get the right key then you go back downstairs and into the garage vinnie turns his head to the door as he hears you enter the room

Vinnie: hey baby
Y/n: hey vin
You see that he's now stood next to the car he was looking at earlier
Y/n: do you like that car
Vinnie: yeah it's amazing
You smile
Y/n: do you want to take it on a ride
Vinnie eyes go wide as a smile spreads across his face
Vinnie: really
Y/n: yeah
You as you let out a small laugh as you toss him the keys as he smiles like a kid on Christmas Day
You walk over to the passenger side door and get in as Vinnie stands there in shock
Y/n; well come on get in
You say in a laugh 

He smiles as he quickly walks to the car and get in the turns the car on and smiles as he starts to reverse the car out of your garage he drives around for a little while then he decides to take you to the Hollywood sign to once you get there you both get out of the car and walk over to the sign and sit down underneath it you both sit in silence as you both look over la you see out of the corner of your eye that he is looking at you

Y/n: why are you staring
You say as you smile and turn your head to look at him
Vinnie: I was just wondering how I got so lucky
You smile and lean over and kiss him
Y/n: I love you vin
Vinnie: I love you to, my love

You look away still smiling as he puts his arm around and pulls you close to him as you rest your head on his shoulder you both stay in comfortable silence as you looking at the starts after about 30 minutes you start to get really tired
Vinnie: are you ready to go home baby, you seem really tired
Y/n: yeah

He nods his head as you both stand up and walk back to the car once you both get in he can tell that you are cold because you keep shivering so he decides to put the heating on for you, you smile seeing what he is doing once he has turns the heating on he starts the 25 minute drive back to your house you both sit in comfortable silence with some music playing softly in the background as you try and stay awake but just over 10 minutes into the car ride you fall asleep

You wake up to vinnie slightly shaking you

Vinnie: y/n wake up we're home
Y/n: what, oh okay
You say in a sleepy voice as you both get out of the car and head into your room and you get into your bed
Vinnie: go to sleep baby get some rest
He says as he kisses your forehead and goes to leave the room you look at him with a confused look
Y/n: wait vin where are you going
Vinnie stopes and looks at you
Vinnie: oh I ahhh just didn't want to over step after what happened
Y/n: aww thank you vin but it's okay I want you here
Vinnie smiles.
Vinnie: are you sure
Y/n: yes now get in
You say as you pull the cover over and pat the bed so he can get in he laughs and gets in the bed next to you you smile as he puts his arm around you as you rest your head on his chest

Vinnie: goodnight baby u love you
Y/n: I love you too vinnie
You say as you close your eyes and slowly fall asleep

Vinnies pov

He sighs as he looks down at you and sees that you're peacefully sleeping, he sees some hair in your face so he gently tucks it behind your ear as he takes a deep breath

Vinnie: y/n I know your asleep right now but I need to tell you this. y/n I need you to know that I love you so fucking much and I don't know how to show you but I will do anything for you my love as long as I am here I won't let anybody hurt you ever again y/n I promise

He says in a whisper trying not to wake you he takes a deep breath as he leans down ad kisses your head he decides he should get some sleep so he pulls you closer to him as he slowly falls asleep
