Avantika and Chandrika grasped at the revelation, "It's impossible. I gave birth to her." Meenavati blurted with confusion.
She looked at Chandrika, "You were there. I gave birth to twins! You were there during delivery."
Chandrika gulped, "You lost consciousness when you went into labour pain. Only the nurse and chief doctor were there. I was outside. I ran to the room after I heard the baby's cries. That's when I knew you had twins."
Meenavati helplessly stared at her husband who held her. Avantika stood behind Chandrika in fear. Yudhisthira could feel his blood boil. He was inches away from drawing his sword and running away with Radhika, but he pushed his sword back and sighed gritting his teeth.
When the pain reduced, Radhika looked at her family. They watched her weakly in fear, anger, and confusion. All her life even though rebelling, Radhika had never voiced her thoughts against misunderstanding her, and she had accepted whatever was thrown into the way. She even doubted herself to some point. But being called that she wasn't her mother's child? That she didn't agree. Radhika didn't accept this.
She stood up hastily, "THAT'S ENOUGH! I have put up with all this nonsense for way too long. I won't be quiet anymore."
"The real witch is coming out!" One of the maids from behind yelled. Radhika glared at her. "Are you insane? How would you feel if I told you, you are a witch and not your mother's daughter?"
Radhika took a step further, stepping out of the seat. Agninath shouted, hiding a sly smirk, "She broke the sacred spell!" He ran across the room to his seat and put items into the havan kund. "I will save you all."
"You are really an evil witch!" Another maid in the room said. Udaya had his hand against his sword. His hands were hesitant, but he knew deep down, Radhika was innocent.
"How dare you!" Radhika groaned glaring at the maid. She pulled her hands up in the air in frustration. Soon, the curtains behind the maid caught fire.
"SEE IT'S TRUE! She killed Rani ma Umadevi after all!" Another maid said running away. "STOP! Do not open the doors, I have trapped the evil inside, if you open, you will be letting it free." Agninath yelled. All the maids hurdled into a corner.
Radhika gasped in shock and took a trembling step back. Everybody looked at her, shivering in fear. Agninath was busy putting the fire off that was spreading due to the breeze. Once they had successfully dampened the fire, Yudhisthira looked at his sister in confusion. He was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. Radhika walked back to the seat, tears streaming out of her eyes. "I didn't do it!" She told. No one believed her.
Agninath grabbed her hand and pushed her against the coffin. Bewildered and scared, Radhika hadn't even realized there was a coffin in the room before being thrown into it. Agninath was muttering incomprehension chants while the whole room fell into an anxious silence. Radhika pleaded with him and tried to wriggle free but all her efforts were futile.
