"Something feels off. While I am preoccupied with helping my mother regain her strength, something else is happening behind my back, and I need to know all about it!" Rani commanded when Gira continued to linger, she glared at the spirit, "Go now!" Her anger increasing. The spirit scurried away cursing under her breath how unpredictable Rani was at times.

In her fury, Rani shouted again, "AASTHA!! You... how could you change so much... what happened... there's a different glow... there's something unhinged in your eyes.. What-" Rani kept talking to herself and when the realization dawned, she stood rooted to the ground. A few seconds passed and she began to smirk, "Looks like... my dear sister from another life... is finally remembering her past.."

Drawing a sharp breath, she looked up at the sky, her laughter echoing around her. "Now... this is getting interesting!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in excitement. The sudden burst startled a crow soaring in the distance, which swooped down and landed inside a nearby cave.

Inside the cave, the old witch, deeply engrossed in her ritual, sensed the crow's arrival and emerged from her shadows. This crow was her loyal messenger, though its spirit lacked significant power. "What news do you bring today?" the old witch asked with narrowed eyes.

She had little faith in her daughter's ability to manage things alone, so she relied on this spirit for the latest developments.

The crow relayed the day's events, detailing how Aastha and her companions had arrived in Rudragarh and how Rani had confronted Aastha earlier. With each revelation, the old witch's fury grew. "Useless girl!" she shouted, her voice echoing through the cave, causing countless bats to stir and scatter as she glared into the darkness.

"This girl is really of no use! How could she let those people enter Rudragarh? How could she miss such a great opportunity to kill that bloody Aastha!"

"For a woman of your caliber, she is pretty weak, isn't she?" The spirit taunted. The old witch glared at the crow.

"It's not my daughter that's weak... it's the host... the body I chose for her... perhaps, the soul that I tied to my daughter's was weak! How else could the daughter of this greatest witch could make such stupid mistakes!" The old witch yelled cursing how weak human beings are.

"What do you mean?" the spirit inquired, genuinely curious.

"None of your concern!" the old witch snapped, stepping away to gather her thoughts. Shaking her head, she muttered under her breath, "This can't continue like this... I need to find a solution!"

As the old witch paced, the spirit hesitated, wondering how to convey the last piece of information. Sensing its hesitation, the old witch flicked her fingers, causing the crow to fly and perch on her shoulder. The crow fidgeted before finally sighing.

"What more are you hiding?" The witch narrowed her eyes.

"Erm.. there is one last thing..." The crow began and with another sigh it continued, "Your daughter is looking for... Raktbaksh," the spirit revealed, summoning all its strength to fly and perch atop a slit on the walls of the cave. The old witch's eyes widened in shock.
