"Seriously, Kim Taerin?" says Shin while eyeing her.

They are at the library to finish their school work. They are reviewing to get ready for their midterm exams.

"What now?" She asked smiling at her. She is so in good mood to roll her eyes at her.

"You look like you're out of your mind." She said while rolling her eyes at her. "Stop grinning like that will you? It's creepy." Shin added while shuddering.

Taerin chuckled at her friend's actions. "Is it a crime to be happy now?"

Shin stopped reading for a while and eyed her. "Why? You'll be running away with Seungcheol?"

"Ssssh!" She hissed at what her friend had said. Someone might hear it and it would surely cause a great issue. "Stop saying nonsense. Seungcheol's not insane to do that and I am not either to agree."

Shin pouted. "Gosh! You're overreacting. No one's gonna hear us. It's just you and me here."

She sighed. "Still. You know the kind of people in this place." She's just being careful.

"You're just paranoid." She said while closing the book she was reading. "So what are Seungcheol's plans for your birthday?" she then asked.

It seems like Shin is grasping news from her. But much to her friend's disappointment, she'll not say anything. "Secret." She just said and sticks out her tongue.

Her birthday is the day after tomorrow. She doesn't get why she is too excited for that day when every day, Seungcheol gives her letters and stuff. He even promised her sixteen loving gifts from him.

She knows it's too much for her but knowing Seungcheol, the eldest Choi, he will never listen to her if she'll try to stop him. That's why she let him be. And besides, she enjoys receiving gifts especially when it's coming from him.

"Let's go. We can occupy this table."

She followed Shin. It's already lunch that's why they found their way to fill their stomachs. She understands the stares the people around her are throwing her. She got used to it. Who would not? When her past two years there has always been like that? She gave up at the thought that these people might accept her for Seungcheol.

Indeed, Seungcheol was right. She doesn't need anyone's acceptance besides him. Who cares about what those people think? It's not that she loves all of them. They can't make her happy - Seungcheol can. That's what matters most.

"Seriously, someone should do something about those guys."

She followed Shin's gaze. "Junhui and Wonwoo?" she asked, confused. "What is your problem with them now?"

She turned to her with a face saying 'Seriously, dude?'. "One is silent and as creepy as fvck while the other is a cold and arrogant jerk. Who wouldn't be having problems with those kinds of guys?"

Me. Taerin thought.

"You're lucky that you're their brother's girl. If ever not, they might pull you in their crappy world."

Junhui was just a plain silent type of guy. He doesn't talk much and she never saw him socialize with others aside from his brothers. His silent attitude makes him all scary and cold. He seems like a guy with so many secrets. While Wonwoo, on the other side, was the misunderstood one. He looks like the bad boy and arrogant type, especially when his eyebrows furrow. And she doesn't understand why he stands for what the people see in him. But she always sees him helping people in need. Since then, she sees him differently. He wasn't so bad. Maybe he has his own reasons why he's acting like that.
