"Good morning, Ma'am." The employees greeted her with full respect as she walked to Seungcheol's office. He said that he would Visit DC to check on things so she's excited to her husband.
Silly her. As if they're not together for the whole weekend.
Well, just look at that. She thought that she will forever push Seungcheol, out of her life and her feelings for him but when she faced her true feeling, she's happier and things turned out great for her. It's like she's on her own haven.
What they said was true, that there's always a rainbow after the rain. And she would gladly grab the end of that rainbow.
"Yura." Taerin excitedly called Seungcheol's secretary when she saw her talking with a department head. "Is Seungcheol in?" She asked looking around for a trace of him.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Choi. There has been a change of plan." Yura stated as-a-matter-of-factly.
"Really?" Her shoulder sagged. She was expecting to see Seungcheol but he's not around. And he didn't even tell her that he's plans were pushed back. She turned to Yura when she speaks again.
"But he specifically told me to give you this." She gave her a note. She accepted it and read it.
I'm sorry, Wife. Something came up. I'll see you soon, though. I miss you. I love you.
Even though she was a little disappointed, the note made her smile. It's as if she can hear him saying those words to her directly.
She folded it and kept it on her wallet. He still has the worst penmanship she ever laid eyes on, but she loved it. She loves everything about her husband. For her, there's nothing to hate about him. That's why she can't get mad at him right now even if she was disappointed.
She just went back to her designs. Seungcheol was still against her working early. He still wants to have a honeymoon and he wants to fly all the way to New Caledonia.
She wants to agree with his idea also. A week spent with Seungcheol would define paradise for her. But she already said 'yes' to Vanessa's proposal. When she knew about her making an exclusive collection of jewelry for an international magazine, she didn't think twice on accepting it. It's a great opportunity for the company and for her also. Stocks will rise and they can get back to their loss.
Anyway, Seungcheol and she were always on a honeymoon. Every day is a honeymoon.
An hour passed since she started sketching her new designs. She directly thought of it as Seungcheol so she answered it immediately.
"Giiiiirl!"
She frowned at the high pitch voice that ringed on her ear. She looked at her phone to look at her caller.
"Shin?"
"You sound disappointed?"
