"I'm sorry I wasn't able to congratulate you on your wedding day." Apologized to Anna, the famous designer who designed her wedding gown. "I had an important meeting with some clients that's why I didn't have the time to attend."

Taerin shook her head. "No, it's okay, Anna. Besides, Yin attended on your behalf. Though I prefer to thank you personally for designing my gown, I understand that you're busy."

"I really, really loved her wedding gown." Irene agreed on her side. "I hope on my wedding day, I'll wear a gown you designed."

"I would be glad to do the honor." Anna beamed at Irene.

"You're really demure in person. I met your sister, Arra. You're twins, right? You all have different personalities." Irene said. "Do you have a brother?"

"Unfortunately, nope. We're all Dad's princesses."

Taerin stared at the glass of juice in her hand and at the same time listened to the two ladies beside her. She was not thirsty, but that persistent stare was making her throat run dry.

She doesn't really know where Seungcheol was exactly standing but she can really feel his burning stare on her. She gets conscious because of it.

The tiny hair behind her nape was prickling from awareness and it gives her goosebumps. There was this strange tension building up inside her body that wanted to explore and break free.

"Good evening, ladies."

Her breath hitched at the sound of that deep low voice. Butterflies immediately flew inside her when she felt Seungcheol's slender fingers on her waist.

"Why are you holding Nique Eonnie again, Oppa? Do you think Anna and I will snatch her away from you?"

Seungcheol smirked at his sister. "I'm just getting my wife, Sis."

Irene looked at the huge wall clock at the center of the room. "You're leaving already? It's still early."

"Today has been a long day for her. She needs rest."

Rest?

Taerin frowned. Why does she feel like Seungcheol was about to do something . . . bad?

"Hmm. You're just making excuses to be with Nique Eonnie." Irene teased. She could already feel her face turning crimson red.

"Let's go?" Seungcheol turned to her. He reached for her hand and rests it on his arms. "Well, if you'll excuse us."

"Good night," Anne said.

"Good night, Oppa! Eonnie, just shout if Oppa does something to you." Irene said. Seungcheol just winked at her baby sister.

She just walked with him silently. Her heart was racing and she was breaking into cold sweats.

Seungcheol just nodded at every single person they met on their way. She was so stiff walking beside him, even her smile is stiff.

"Relax," Seungcheol whispered to her, and it only made her tremble even more.

What was happening to her? She can't understand herself. She was finding her reaction towards Seungcheol weird and strange. Just a simple touch and she's like a candle slowly melting. Just like now that he is holding her while they mounted the grand staircase.
